Chaemin's POV

"YOU WON'T BELIEVE WHAT TAEYONG DID TO ME!"

I turn my attention to the screaming Haechan, barreling towards us at an astonishing pace. Not this child again.

"Wow, what happened?" Renjun asks from across the kitchen counter, sounding very bored.

"He tricked me! He started getting mad at me for hosting this spectacular party and then he started laughing and said it was all a joke! I almost got grounded!" Haechan narrates dramatically.

"That doesn't sound like something Taeyong would do," I comment, accepting a cookie that Renjun offers to me.

"Oh, trust me, you wouldn't expect him to do half of the things he does in this dorm," Mark laughs, pulling Haechan away from the counter so he can grab something to eat.

"Hm, interesting," I smile, thinking about the fluffy Yongie hidden underneath the talented, business-like Taeyong we usually see.

I depart from the 00' liners to find a new human to talk to, which isn't very hard, considering that there are currently 24 people crammed into this dorm.

Sure enough, as soon as I exit the kitchen, I spot Winwin, standing alone near the front door. I approach him to start a conversation.

"Oh, hi, Chaemin!" he greets me.

"Hi, Winwin!" I answer happily.

"You're the same age as me, right?" he asks, grinning like a little kid. He looks so cute! I want to pinch his cheeks, but I refrain from doing so.

"Yep! Although, I was born in December, so you're still older than me," I explain.

"Oh, cool. None of us have December birthdays, so I guess that makes you unique in some way," he suggests. I laugh at his thoughts.

"Oh, hey Chaemin, hi Winwin. I'm just here to retrieve food for Jungwoo before I go deaf," Jaehyun explains, bending down to look through the bags of food.

"Did I hear food?" Taeil asks, apparently back to check on Winwin again.

"Yeah," Jaehyun answers, picking out some stuff and then returning to the hallway where he came from.

"Bye!" I wave to Winwin, who is currently running away from Taeil and his affection. He hurriedly waves back before disappearing around a corner with Taeil dashing after him.

I wander around for a little bit, conversing with the members, who are all very friendly. I find that I have a lot of the same interests as them.

Soon, I stumble around the one person I was looking for, the first one who I met out of all 23 of these people, the one who introduced me to this chaotic group in the first place.

"Your dorm is really nice," I compliment him, watching as he jumps in surprise. Oops, I didn't mean to scare him.

"Do you want to see my room?" Taeyong asks randomly.

"Uh, sure!" I agree. All of a sudden, he takes my hand and pulls me down a hallway. Surprised, I follow him like a puppy. Johnny smirks at me as we pass him.

Taeyong pushes open a door, and we step into his room. It's very clean, as expected, but there are also a lot of little things that I haven't noticed before in his V LIVEs.

My hand is dropped, and I look around his room, trying to hide my heated face. I like his room a lot, I really do, and I make sure to tell him.

"So, uh, when should I go?" I ask, finally making eye contact with him after I calm down. Well, this is getting awkward.

"Our manager will be back in around an hour or so," he replies, sounding relieved.

Taeyong suggests that I go meet some more people, so I slip out of his room to continue with my very long journey of introducing myself to everyone.

I take a few deep breaths to calm myself down and remove the pink tint from my face, then start talking to Jisung, the baby maknae.

Although, after having conversations with a few people, my hand is still tingling where Taeyong touched it. Either he has the magic touch, or my imagination is going wild.

Checking the time on my phone, I notice that it's already been almost an hour since we arrived here. Time sure flies by when you're with NCT.

I decide that it's about time for me to leave, since a) I don't want to be here when their manager comes back, and b) They probably have things to do and I don't want to distract them.

So I go in search of Taeyong to tell him that I'm leaving. But after a minute of searching, I still haven't found him. That probably means that he's in his room.

I stand there at his door, debating whether or not I should actually knock or if he's doing something important.

Gathering up my courage, I knock a few times on his door and then hear movement inside, followed by Taeyong's voice.

"Haechan, Mark, I swear, if you guys- Oh, hi, Chaemin," he says, opening the door. "Sorry, Haechan and Mark have been bothering me a lot recently."

I stifle a laugh and then inform him that I'm going to be leaving soon.

"Oh, alright. Do you need someone to take you back? Our dorm is pretty far away from your house and the bakery," Taeyong says. Am I imagining it, or does he look disappointed?

"No, it's fine, I'll call a taxi," I respond, not wanting to be a burden to them.

"Alright. Johnny, can you take Chaemin back to her house?" Taeyong calls, completely disregarding my reply.

"I can call a-" I start, but then get cut off by Johnny answering that he'll be glad to.

"Okay, let's go," Taeyong suggests, grasping his phone and leading me to the door where Johnny is waiting for us.

Well, I guess I'm going on another car ride with them.

Not that I'm complaining.
