CHAPTER THREE

Maiko woke up Saturday Morning and made her way to Fallons house with Shota, "you sure you don't wanna stay old man?" She joked, "no thanks, these parties are exhausting." "Aw but you never know you might meet someone." She laughed and he rolled his eyes. Fallon lived in a beautiful manor home that was almost castle like, her family owns an electrical company called Alderidge Industries that's been passed down from generations. Even though you'd expect them to be a bunch of arrogant assholes, Fallons family is great, her dad works a lot but he loves his family and always makes time for them, her mom is a stay out home mom and is one of the warmest women Maiko knows.

"OH YOURE HERE YAY!" Fallon exclaimed as Maiko walked into her bedroom.
"Yup I want to get as much practicing as I can before the party."
"you worry to much, you're great you've practiced all week!"
"I don't want to make any mistakes, I'm gonna go practice I'll be back up in a couple hours."
Maiko walked down to the backyard where people were setting up various tables, lights, chairs, and musical instruments. She walked up to the stage and saw Aila was practicing her singing.

"Maiko! It's great to see you I feel like it's been so long!" She said.
"Yah a couple of months."
"Hey, you doing ok with everything ? I've tried to talk to mom but-"
"I'm fine Aila. I just wanna practice a bit more ok?"
"Yah ok." She said with a small smile.
Maiko began practicing her routine, and moving her hands in different ways to controls the lights according to the music. After a couple of hours of practicing Fallon basically dragged her up to her room to start getting ready.

As she stepped out of the bathroom, Fallon immediately stood up, "YOU LOOK GREAT!" She exclaimed.
"Thanks you look beautiful too." She said pinching her cheeks.
Fallon wore a beautiful light blue dress that complemented her complexion beautifully and a white mask.
