Harry had been running, being chased by his nemesis when he came to a stop. Facing Voldemort and said, "It's just you and me today."

The other wizard just replied with a straight face, "really? To think that you would use somebody who you love dearly as a shield for yourself today too."

"Jealousy doesn't suit you well, neither does having no nose but I guess that you are working with both aren't you" Harry replied smugly.

Voldemort seemed to flinch a little, "jealous of who? A boy who had only survived till now by accident?"

"What accident huh? I was ready to die just to make sure that nobody else would die..."

"But you didn't" Voldemort finished.

"I meant to. I have done what I have learnt to do for years, protect those who I can and give everything in me to work towards the good. You make mistakes after mistakes, miss killing me chance after chance. Never really learn do you Riddle?"

"You dare to-"

"Yes, I dare to call you by your real name, not some name you made up like a five-year-old."

"What are you going to say now Potter, going to tell me about love again or some great weapon you have against me" while the snakelike faced man managed to say that with a straight face, he did look hesitant.

"There are no more Horcruxes. It's just you and me. Neither can live while the other survives, and one of us is about to leave for good" Harry said, there was confidence oozing out of every word. He had to keep it up to even try and intimidate the wizard before him.

"One of us, and you believe it will be you?" Voldemort questioned. The hint of joy on his face turned into a burst of full-blown laughter. It was the worst kind of voice Harry had ever heard. It was more frightening than the wails from his nightmares and the screams that currently were surrounding him.

"Guess we will just have to see won't we?"

With that, the duel began again.

In the chaos of watching his godson throw jinxes at the death eaters and Voldemort, Sirius was solely focused on one thing. The only way his son could win right now was if he could just kill the snake.

However, Nagini seemed to be sticking to the death eaters and attacking the students. The dark green snake which would always stick close to her lord was now fighting for him too, intimidating the brave and innocent students.

There was no way to go near that vicious creature undetected but this was Sirius Black and a brilliant person to sneak around. "Accio invisibility cloak" he whispered.

Somehow amongst the clashing bodies, flying spells and broken walls a perfectly intact flying cloak was received by the black-haired man. He caught it with a mere raise of his hand and swung it around his shoulders.

He looked over towards his fellow dog animagi who had been watching him. Draco nodded and unsheathed the Gryffindor sword a little, indicating his preparation to kill the snake. With the same determination in his eyes, he turned around to look at the other boy.

'Attack him', he mouthed towards Ron. As a response, he gave a quick nod before casting a loud "incendio" towards the snake.

In a matter of seconds, Nagini had taken interest in the young Weasley boy, it slowly slithered towards him. The approximately 12 feet long snake slowly made its way towards Ron. Needless to say that Ron did not flinch, he stood still keeping his belief in the other two.
