Bryn

Bryn first woke when Din tried to maneuver himself out of her grasp without waking her up. Still half asleep, she frowned and snuggled deeper into Din's warm chest. It was strange to feel him without his armor. He was so warm, so human, and she loved it.

Din gave a breathless chuckle. His voice was raspy and thick with sleep. His bare fingers brushed against her arm. "Cyar'ika, I have to get up."

Bryn shook her head like a child and dug her head deeper into his chest, forcing him to lay back down. She moved so half of her was on top of him, trapping him beneath her.

Din sighed playfully and brushed her hair. "I guess I'll just have to stay a little longer, considering I'm trapped and all."

Bryn nodded in agreement sleepily and drifted back to sleep with his warms arms around her.

The next time Bryn woke, Din was gone but she wasn't alone. In his place was a familiar little green child which burrowed its head into Bryn chest, cooing as it nuzzled her. She raised her arm and brought the child closer to her, giggling sleepily as its small hands tugged on her hair and cocooned itself in her warmth.

Bryn, who was still too tired to get up, heard Din rustling around softly. She heard his footsteps near her and he stopped, chuckling under his breath at the sight of her and the child cuddling.

The last time Bryn woke, it was due to Din's gloved fingers tracing the side of her face. His touch was light and fleeting and he seemed almost reluctant to wake her up. "Ad'ika, wake up, we're here." He said softly.

Bryn yawned quietly and reached for his arm which was now dressed with his armor glinting in the light. She tried to pull him down beside her but he resisted and she pouted.

He chuckled, something he seemed to be doing often around her, and gently lifted her shoulders up so she was in a sitting position. Bryn yawned tiredly and rubbed her eyes.

"Where are we?" She asked once she realized the Razor Crest was no longer moving. She blinked and peered up at Din's helmet.

He stood from his kneeling position on the cot and offered his hand. "Come see."

After Bryn dressed herself, she glanced at the child who was still cooing softly in his sleep. She smiled fondly and followed Din towards the entrance of the Razor Crest, watching the Crest open with a hiss of steam.

Bryn gasped at the sight in front of her. Surrounding them was a glittering green forest. The trees were so bright they glinted like jewels in the sunlight. The grass seemed as soft as silk and a large lake reflected from the sun, creating mirages in the rippling water.

It was nothing like she had ever seen. "It's beautiful," She whispered. It was the only word she had to describe it. Even without looking at him, Bryn could feel Din's gaze on her. She looked up and gave him a brilliant smile.

"What planet is this?"

"Ellot." Din replied, not taking his eyes off her, drinking in her every expression.
