Chapter 24

It was the middle of summer vacations (around the 10th to 23rd of August by the 2020 calendar), the sun was at its highest and it was hot, very hot... In various ways

"There's a lot of people"

"Well, that's to be expected, since it's summer and the weather is going to be clear for this entire week"

Aki and Ayano were talking as they waited for Yuriko who was properly packing everything they might need on a handbag and changing into her swimsuit since she was the most organized one from the trio, Aki was wearing a black two-piece swimsuit, while Ayano was wearing a red frilly two-piece swimsuit, underneath their T-shirts and shorts

"... Are we taking advantage of Yuriko right now?"

"Yes, but at the same time, we don't want to suffer from the same mistakes in both times we three came here"

To put it simply, Aki and Ayano forgot to pack some of their most necessary stuff, and Yuriko had to cover for everyone with her own stuff, in both times they went to the beach by themselves

"Sorry for the wait, are you two ready to go?"

" "..." "

Yuriko came out of their inn room and met the two at the reception, she was wearing a large parka and small shorts, making it appear that she was only wearing the parka at first glance, and she was also wearing sunglasses (A/N Notes: Why small shorts and not mini-shorts? Because when I googled it, the image of mini-shorts mostly appeared to be underwears made of jeans. While the small shorts, looked more like shorts, but smaller)

"Hm? What's wrong? Why're you two so quiet?"

"Nothing, it's just... How can you wear that parka in this heat?"

"Yeah, we're both feeling hot just from wearing shirts and shorts when we went outside"

Yuriko had a very strong resistance to both the heat and the cold. And with their small talk over they all went to the beach under the summer heat

*Opens the car door* "Gah! So! Hot!... Whew... Good thing we left home after Dad and Hideo-nii broke the AC"

Takeru and Akari both left the refreshing AC of a cab only to be received by the dreaded heat of summer, something they were both weak against, and they were also weak to the cold of winter

They got their luggage out of the car trunk, and paid the driver, Akari paid it that is, and they entered their uncle's new inn and were revived by the building's AC, then after standing under the wind made by the AC for some seconds, they went inside the reception

"So what do we do now?"

"I already messaged uncle that we arrived, he said he's coming to take us to our rooms"

And after a little while, Uncle Eiichi appeared

"If it isn't Takkun and Akachan! How have you two been?"

"Dad and Hideo-nii broke the AC back home"
