"Finally!" you yell after finishing a task your professor gave you. You stretch your body that let you make a noise.

The librarian being stricter than your parents— and basically just hates you for staying in the library even though it's pass your school time, not letting her go home early— shush you. You quickly fix your posture and press your lips, afraid to anger the librarian any further.

It's been an hour since the last school bell for today ringed. You wanted to go home but your professor told you to write an article about the first compass ever created. You can't say no because one, he's your professor. Two, your school publication needs a historical article in it and you as a journalist you need to write about it.

Yes, you can write it later on. But not if the deadline is tomorrow!

Oh well, it's done already anyway.

You pack your bag and put the laptop in it. You'll send the article later when you got home.

You finally exit the library but heard the librarian murmur something. It may be low in volume but it's loud enough for you to hear what she said. And it's basically her rants about you.

And because it's already late, there are no more outside the school grounds. It's getting creepy because of the sky covered with grey clouds.

"Looks like it'll rain," you whisper to yourself. Hopefully it won't 'till you get home because you didn't bring your umbrella, thinking earlier that it's sunny.

After exiting the school grounds, you went to the bus stop just across it. While the librarian has her own car, she exits the school and drives away.

Huh, looks like it's just the two of you who're present in the school earlier. And now that she left, you're alone. The thought made you hug yourself in fear.

Who knows what's or who's lurking around? In case someone attacks you, you hold your bag, containing your laptop. It's better off destroyed than you hurt or kidnapped.

Then the rain pours out of the blue. It made you squeal because of how hard it hits the roof of the bus stop, preventing you to get soaking wet. You keep stepping backwards because of the water jumping their way to you after hitting the ground.

"Aish! Didn't I just wish not to rain?!" you exclaimed in frustration.

What made you furious is that there's no single bus or even any vehicle that has passed! You have no ride to go home and it's getting later and later!

You check your phone to call your mom but the battery is dead. "Seriously?" Could things get any worse?

You impatiently tap your foot, still waiting for the rain to stop. If only it's not that heavy, you could've just run towards home. But no, at this rate, you'll surely get fever. Which you will avoid at all cost. You're very conscious about your grade so a day of absence is a no no.

"How do I get home?" you ask to no one anxiously.

"Here, Miss."

"Oh my gosh!"

You jump on your feet the moment a voice speak. It came from your right so you look at the direction only to see a man so handsome, you stare at him for a moment.

A fluffy hair and fluffy cheeks. A beautiful eyes. His face just resembled a cute puppy and you're almost at awe. But then he fakes a cough that snap you out of your trance.

"S-sorry, I-I didn't mean to stare."

"It's okay," he respond softly with a smile. "Here."

Your eyes went down to his hands, offering you an umbrella. Even though you don't know him, you take it and express your gratitude.

"Thanks." Again, he respond with a smile that made his cheeks rise up more. If only it won't look weird, you would squish it.

It didn't occur to you that he might be a bad guy who has any plan on kidnapping you or hurting you. Just with his innocent look, you already knew that you could trust him somehow.

Yes, looks can be deceiving. But he just doesn't give off a dark aura, making you trust the guy you don't know.

"Go back home safe!" were the last words you heard from him before he runs out towards the rain and run off.

"Wait!" You tried to stop him by shouting. There are so many thing you wanted to tell and ask him.

First, to go back to the bus stop because he'll get sick if he stays in the rain further. Two, why did he gave you the umbrella then run away? Three, what does he think he's doing? Four, what could you do to thank him. And five, what is his name.

But you just stood there and watch him as he ran away. That guy in a blue shirt.
