You never expect Song Mingi to enter your life. And you wish he never did.

You met him when you were practicing for your group performance. He was a cousin of your group mate and a close friend, Yunho.

He helped you with the performance, and everything about it.

Little did you know that he liked you already the time he laid an eyes to you.

You didn't notice Mingi's feelings for you because you were too busy with the performance. You didn't notice how he steal small glances at you. How he stays close to you every time you're taking a break.

When the performance day came, Mingi was there to cheer for your group but most importantly to you. You didn't became close to him though.

That night, Mingi chatted you and congratulated you in your victory.

You thanked him of course. If not for his helps, the performance wouldn't be that perfect.

Your once small expression of gratitude turned into a long conversation. Mingi was just so funny that he can make you giggle just by chatting him.

He will be the last person you'll chat with every night, the person you always talked to. Mingi would always complement you that flutters your heart. And you slowly fall for him.

And you know that with his complements, he likes you too. No guy would complement a woman like the way he did to you. Although, you hide your suspicion. You don't want to assume, yet that's your observation. 

Until one day, Mingi confessed to you. He said that he likes you and ask you if you feel the same. That if he could court you.

But you're so conservative, you're a study first kind of girl. And you wouldn't want to disappoint your parents if they knew that you had a thing like that at an early age. So you keep your feelings with you.

You told him that you wanted to study first and don't want to entertain such thing. But he's too pushy! Mingi said that he will wait for you. No matter how long it takes.

You melt at that. You never met a man like him. And you can't bare to loose Mingi. But you have to study where you should focus first. And you would trade anything just to finish your study and make your parents proud. Even if that means you wouldn't had any love life.

But just like what Mingi said, he can wait. And he will wait.

"I promise, Y/N. I will wait for you. Just don't look for someone else," he pleaded with his puppy eyes that you adore so much.

"But can you wait even after 8 years?" you asked, afraid that you will get hurt once you let yourself love him so you asked that. You still have goals to reach, dreams to reach. For you and your family.

"Of course I can! Even after 45 years I can! Just for you," you smiled at his reply. Ugh! He never failed to flutter you.

Three years past, and just like what Mingi said, he did wait for you. You two still keep chatting, talking and all. When you have a group project with Yunho, he's always there. Beside you, talking to you.

You keep brushing the feeling by putting less effort on Mingi. You will not call him when you see him, you will not chat him first. You never made any first move. You continuously told him that he shouldn't wait for you anymore. Because you dont want to hurt the both of you. Although, just like what Mingi said, he'll wait.
