"How could someone who got no sleep still look so beautiful in the morning?" His voice asked still ridden with sleep.

Zach smiled as he looked at Arielle.

Something about the confidence that justice would be on her side made him want to laugh. Her eyes tried so hard to hide her emotions yet he could see the desperation growing as time went on.

The thought that Sebastian would've been out of his mind by now, wrecking havoc looking for the very person that was in front of him made him happy.

Arielle's beauty was something he could easily get used to.

"Why are you doing this?" Arielle muttered, her fighting spirit tiring and her wrist red from the handcuff.

"Why not?" He asked back, wanting to push her patience. "The list is never-ending: his personality, how he acts like he's the king, how he gets his way, I could continue but it's only ruining my morning."

Arielle glared at him as he spoke, his words not sitting right with her.

"You know, a man like Sebastian has no weak spots," Zach started, buttoning his cuffs, "He doesn't care much for anything. He never shoots to kill. He doesn't do much except overwork himself when it comes to the company."

He smiled as he walked over to her, "That is, he had no weak spots until it came to you. When it comes to you, he would do anything. You know that too. Watching him destroy himself for you is  the best revenge for people like him. Imagine that. His lover being his demise."

She pulled at the handcuff, trying to get at him.

She couldn't bear to hear his words any longer.

Because she knew it was true.

Sebastian would do anything for her.

And that was what scared her the most.

"Don't get all feisty now." Zach grinned as he took a step back. Just one step out of her reach.

"He's doing this to himself." He shrugged, "It's been too long huh? I think I should meet him soon."

Sebastian stiffened as he watched a man carry Arielle's body out the boutique on the security camera.

The last thing Sebastian would do was show that he was vulnerable.

Yet, his heartbeat betrayed him.

He was scared.

She was all alone.

Never once did she ever asked to be dragged into his lifestyle and the only thing that filled his mind was regret.

He regretted meeting her.

If he could rewind the clock and never meet her, he would

Even if it meant he would live the rest of his life in pain, she would've never met a scumbag like him.

As it should have been.

"It's a dead end. There's nothing we can use in these clips." Jaxon sighed, "I think they knew we were going to get here and left this behind purposely."

"Send those clips to the main house and get them to comb over to see if there was anything we could've missed," Jeremiah ordered, turning to Sebastian.

Before he could say anything, a phone broke the silence.

Sebastian reached into his pocket, finding an unregistered number as the caller ID.

"Sebastian?" A familiar voice called out, "I see you got to the boutique. Did you see how easy it was to get her out of there unnoticed? She's fairly light as well, I—"

"Where is she?" Sebastian asked through gritted teeth.

"There, there now," Zach chuckled, "Don't forget who has the upper hand right now."

"Where is she?" Sebastian asked once more, quieting the entire boutique.

"If I tell you, wouldn't it be too easy?" Zach stated, watching the camera that he had set up in the bedroom, "I'm watching her right now. She's a fighter I'll give you that."

"Where is she?" He repeated himself again, this time raising his voice a bit.

"Alone." Zach smiled to himself, " As long as you can be sure that you'll arrive alone, I have no problem telling you where she is. The faster the better. That way I could tell you those words she begged me to utter to you."

"I'll come alone." Sebastian agreed, causing Jeremiah and Jaxon to snap their heads to him in disbelief.

"I'll text you the address then. The game changes when there are more players Sebastian, so make sure you come alone, only then will it be fun."

With Zach hanging up, Sebastian lowered the phone from his ear and stared at his screen waiting for a text.

"You can't walk in there alone are you kidding me?" Jaxon exclaimed, already sensing the situation, "Your walking to your grave. You know that."

"Sebastian, think this through," Jeremiah told him warily, "You can't just—"

"The goal isn't to keep me alive right now," Sebastian muttered, "It's to get Arielle back. Whether or not I come back alive is based on my own ability."

"I'm not going to let you fall into a trap that you know you won't walk out alive," Jeremiah seethed, grabbing Sebastian by the collar and pushing him up against the wall.

Despite being both tall and well-built, Jeremiah was no match for Sebastian's physique. yet, Sebastian let himself stay there.

"She's alone right now." Sebastian stated, looking Jeremiah dead in the eye, "She never asked to be in this situation. She's innocent. You know what the worse part about this is? Is that the moment she sees me, she's going to tell me she loves me. I regret ever laying eyes on her because in this moment, the only lead I have is that I have to wait for the person who has her captive to give me the clues I need to get to her. You wouldn't know what that's like with your perfect family, living life stress free where your biggest worry is whether you'll be home in time for dinner."

Jeremiah tightened his grip on his brother's collar, "Yet, despite having a family and living that "stress-free" life that you claim I have, I'm here with you. I—"

At the sound of a text, Sebastian grabbed Jeremiah's hand and in one swift motion, threw Jeremiah off of him.

He stormed off in a hurry after, clicking the address on his phone in a hurry.

Those waiting outside the boutique cleared the path, careful to not get caught.

"Who brought the keys to my car?" Sebastian asked, glaring at the guards who had always brought his vehicle around just in case he wanted to go off somewhere.

"Do not give it to him," Jeremiah warned, coughing as he loosened his tie.

Yet, the guard cowardly handed the keys over, knowing very well that he would've done anything to get out of Sebastian's way.

"Follow him," Jaxon ordered, "He's going to get himself killed if he gets one foot out into that place alone."
