Sebastian stood up abruptly, startling his guest.

"Where are you going?" Karissa's voice whined, latching herself onto Sebastian who quickly shook her off.

"There is someone for me, please take your leave." He stated, "—And remember to give a notice if you decide on coming. You are hardly anything but welcomed here."

With a scoff and the shake of her head, Karissa began to leave but stopped, "Very well then. I will return shortly. You need to stop playing hard to get."

Karissa was an ongoing visitor that to this day, Sebastian hadn't figured out how to get rid of.
However, he could care less about her disturbance. After all, Arielle had showed up unexpected.

Sebastian made his way to the security desk on his floor and watched as Arielle fussled with the security as they checked the packed lunch that she had brought with her.

His help would do nothing but raise attention at his normally stern, cold office persona. So he opted out, making his way back to his office.

Not long after, his intercom rang, "Sir, Miss. Arielle is here to see you."

"Send her in." Sebastian replied, waiting for the room to be filled with another presence that he enjoyed.

Arielle knocked before peeking her head through the door and proceeding to stick out a lunch box.

"I brought you food!" She exclaimed after closing the door, "I figured that if you weren't going to eat breakfast, you'd be hungry."

Sebastian smiled at her enthusiasm, it was often that when Arielle had made him a lunch, it was sent through by his security team.

"Thank you love." He chuckled before signaling for her to come, "Are you going to stand their or give me a kiss?"

Arielle made her way as she choose the latter, leaning in for a kiss.

"That's better." Sebastian sighed, "Now tell me, what did you bring?"

"You didn't see?" Arielle questioned, raising an eyebrow. "I caught you peaking while security was checking."

"No, I wanted it to be a surprise so I left before I could see what you made." He reassured her, watching as she took the Hydroflask out and handed it to him.

"Here drink up." Arielle said before opening up the packed lunch, "I made a little lunch burrito with steak. I hope it isn't too filling."

His eyes lit up as he watched her upwrap and place the food in front of him.

How did he ever get so lucky?

"No, it's perfect." He replied, "You're perfect."

She grinned as he savored his meal.

"What was you're excuse for coming this time?" Sebastian asked, referring to her reason for meeting him at the front desk, "I had said that I was here for a meeting and that I was going to help you design a couple more pieces for your office." Sebastian nodded.

It was like every time that Arielle planned on coming to the office, she would have to come up with an excuse as nothing more than his interior designer, not drawing any attention to her.

After all, no one could know she was his girlfriend.

Sebastian Catteneo was portrayed by the media as a man who held no personal attachments to anyone.

"I had said the packed lunch was for myself." Arielle told him, shrugging.

Sebastian was nearly done with the food and before he could open his mouth and continue the conversation, Arielle spoke.

"Who was in your office earlier?" Her voice faltered but she managed it calmly.

Sometimes, her nervousness was not from jealousy but from her insecurity.

In front of others, she never sold herself short but when it came to Sebastian, she never knew what to say.

After all, there were plenty of other beautiful girls in the world and he chose her.

"It was Karissa." Sebastian groaned, "She wanted me to go on another date with her but of course I turned her down, once was enough for the public eye."

"Oh." She smiled and shook it off, "Was she bothersome?"

"You wouldn't even believe." He sighed, "She started with the topic of business but after noticing I was uninterested in what she had to say, she seemed to shift motives."

Sebastian rubbed his temples, "Sometimes, I wish it was simply be me, you, and no one else."

"Then why can't it?" Arielle mumbled, sitting on the couch as she looked at Sebastian who sat at his desk.

"You know why darling." He stated, "I know you don't mind putting yourself out their in the risk of the public but you know I do."

Seb stood up and made his way to the couch where Arielle broke eye contact with him, her frustration built up but she knew Sebastian would and could never put her in harms way.

"You put yourself in a relationship with me and I was selfish enough to accept your love." He explained, "These women mean nothing to me, they never do. It's you. It's always been you. But miracles don't happen in our reality and as harsh as it sounds, you are the only person I want to keep safe from all this... all of my world."

Arielle nodded as she had grew to accept it knowing that her world wouldn't change far from where it was now as long as she was with this man.

"Please let me keep you safe Ari." Sebastian pleaded quietly, "I've said this once and I'll say it again, you're my everything."

She smiled sadly and let her mood brighten up a little, hoping to lighten the mood before remembering what she had forgotten.

"Sebastian, is there anything wrong? With the 'other' side of things that is." Arielle questioned, referring to his illegal aspect of his work.

His lips formed a tight line before curtly replying, "No, why?"

Arielle knew he was lying and she simply sat there until he gave in.

There was something about her that unraveled Sebastian's restraints upon himself like nothing.

It wasn't long before he brushed off some insight, "Just slight problems, nothing too hard for me to figure out. The incident at the house was a one time guarantee thing that will never happen again. I've gotten it under control."

Saying it out loud was more for reassurance for himself than Arielle.

Whether it was a lie or not, was something he refused to see at the moment.

"But why?" He asked, curious as to why she mentioned it.

"There was a car following me as I left the house today."
