A/n: ok so I know nobody asked for a part two but then Olivia dropped drivers license and it was just too PERFECT. I'm also incapable of leaving stories with sad endings, so here ya go.

I got my drivers license last week
Just like we always talked about
Cause you were so exited for me
To finally drive up to your house

But today I drove through the suburbs
Crying because you weren't around

Y/n
One week ago marked two very important occasions in Y/n L/n's life. The first occasion was that she got her driver's license! Y/n could now legally drive throughout the state of New York without an adult. The second, and much more depressing occasion, was that one week ago marked exactly one month since Peter Parker had broken her heart.

It had been one full month since she told Peter how lonely and forgotten she'd felt, one month since she told her boyfriend he wasn't acting like her boyfriend, and it had been one month since Peter decided he didn't need her anymore. One month since her heart was shattered into ten thousand pieces by the one person she trusted to never break it.

Today marked one month and one week, a full 37 days since Y/n and Peter broke up. It was also the first time Y/n had really driven anywhere. Ever since she'd gotten her license Y/n had driven nowhere except from the DMV to her house.

When she woke up that morning and saw one of Peter's hoodies at the bottom of her closet, she decided to go for a drive. Now she was driving aimlessly through the streets of Queens, not really wanting to go anywhere but not wanting to stay home any longer.

Red lights, stop signs
I still see your face in the white cars, front yards
Can't drive past the places we used to go to
'Cause I still f****** love you, babe

Y/n had thought about driving to Delmars and getting a sandwich or going to the park, the library, and the pool, but eventually, she decided against all those places. She went to her favorite coffee shop and got a caramel macchiato, then got another one just because she felt like it, and drove. A left turn here, a right turn there, over a bridge and a couple u-turns whenever she felt like it. Today, Y/n was driving were wherever the wind blew her.

"Crap," she muttered, finally realizing where'd driven. Subconsciously, as though her brain had been on autopilot, she'd found herself slowly driving down Peter's street.

Peter was her safe place for a long time so it made sense that she'd wound up here. Even though he'd been the one to break her heart, he was the one she'd always gone to when she needed to be put pack together.

Y/n wasn't sure why she turned around. She wasn't sure why she drove back to his apartment building, parked the car, or why she got out. She wasn't sure why her feet were taking her through the doors and up the stairs to an all familiar blue door, but she didn't try and fight it. Until after she'd knocked, at least. As soon as her hand made contact with the door she wanted to do nothing more than sprint down the hall and get back in her car, but her feet remained firmly planted on the ground.

Peter
And I know we weren't perfect
But I've never felt this way for no one, oh
And I just can't imagine
How you could be so okay now that I'm gone
I guess you didn't mean what you wrote in that song about me
'Cause you said forever, now I drive alone past your street

Peter Parker had quite literally hit the ceiling. The absolute idiocy of his decision to let Y/n go instead of telling her the truth had finally sunk in and Peter was livid. Not at Y/n or anybody else, but at himself. He was mad that he'd let her go. He was mad that he'd broken her heart, that he'd shattered her so badly. MJ was pissed at what Peter had done to her best friend and she didn't hesitate to let him know.
