A Love Which Was Never Meant To Be

CH 7:JUST FRIENDS???

Dylan stood up from his chair and came towards me. He gently stroked one of my flicks behind my ear and greeted me by sitting on his knees and smooching my hand softly. He said,"How can a beautiful and smart lady like you get a mentor like him? If you want then I can be your mentor." His English was pretty good.he waited few seconds for my reply and after sometime realizing that it was too sudden for me, he stood up and said,"Its okay. I don't need your answer right now." After saying this, he turned towards Tiyane and tapped his shoulders saying,"Take good care of her in my absence. Don't embarrass our country's name." And as he was about to leave, he came back and said,"Oh,(with a smile) this beautiful lady almost made me forget my motto of coming here. Tiyane actually I was here because I wanted to tell you that you need to leave this country. And also I don't think it might be a bother because most probably neither you have friends nor you have a family. The only person in china who has no family.(sniffles and giggles)" On this I got angry and blocked his way with one of my hand. That jerk thought that I was going to give him an answer, but I broke his dreams and instead stepped on his foot. Then taking a step back I said," You jerk. I can't even imagine that fools like you still exist on earth. How can you even ridicule a person like that? And who said that he doesn't have friends? I am his friend." I said holding his hand. then he said,"Huh? You are his friend? then it means you are a fool..." Then as he started to leave, I shouted his name and stopped him. Then I said,"Don't you want an answer? Why to wait long, I will give you my answer right now. No matter how long you wait and bribe me me, I won't change my mentor. He is the best mentor I have ever came across in my life. Get lost! (I shouted)" He grunted and said,"Ok...(in anger) you will regret it." Then I closed the door. Tiyane was sitting on his bed. Then even I slowly went to my bed and set sighing. He then said,"Wow!! That was mind blowing... I didn't thought that you were so amazing." I got shy and was about to say thanks when Mindy barged in. I seemed she had came running. Then she asked "Are you both fine? I saw Dylan going very angrily." We both looked at each other and smiled. Then later Michelle called me. I told her everything that happened and we giggled a lot. Then at last she asked,"Well, are you sure that nothing is going on between you and Tiyane? I am asking this because it is not possible for a girl and boy to be in a pure relationship. You know opposites attract." So I replied,"What are you saying? There is nothing like that between us. We are really just friends." On this i ended the call and myself started to wonder about the answer to this question. Are we really just friends? Who knows?
