Tom's POV:
Haz and I had been waiting outside for 5 minutes but it felt like an eternity. "Why isn't she here" I asked Haz worriedly.
"I don't know. Maybe she lost track of time?" He asked trying to convince himself too.
"No. That's it I'm going in"
"Okay" Haz said following me to the door which I opened immediately not caring about the amount of noise it made.

I looked around the room and my eyes immediately fell on Holly who was laying on the floor. Out cold. She was covered in blood and curled up in a ball. He had hurt her again.
Her dad was standing over her lifeless body, a satisfied grin on his face showing. "How fucking dare you!" I screamed running at Holly's dad. I punched him hard. The force taking him by surprise. I kicked him against the wall as Haz went to help Holly.

I could hear him trying to wake up our friend, who had just been beaten by her abusive father. He did this to her. "I'm gonna kill you" I said through gritted teeth a tear rolling down my face in the process. The sound of Harrison yelling Holly's name tore me apart. It was desperate. As if she wasn't going to wake up.

I reached for the lamp sitting on the small wooden table next to the couch hitting Holly's dad over the head with it hard. Which caused him to fall to the ground also unconscious.

I ran over to my best friend. Holding onto her as sobs tore my body apart. "Holly. I love you so much. Don't you dare leave me" I yelled trying to comfort my best friend as my other one phoned for help.

Within 20 minutes the police were here. They took Holly's dad away. The ambulance also turned up a minute later. They put Holly into a stretcher and wheeled her to the ambulance. I felt disgusted that someone could do this to their child. But more annoyed at myself. Maybe I could have prevented this? "You go with her. I'll meet yous at the hospital" Harrison said which made me happy. I hugged him quickly before saying "I love you Mate" and going into the ambulance with Holly.
