Tom's POV:
I can't even put into words how complete i felt just laying there with Holly. Staring into each other's eyes, I felt calm. "Okay,I'll be back" she said standing up.
"Woah woah woah" I said grabbing her and pulling her back.
"Where you going? I whined.
"I'm going to get changed out of this dress. It's so uncomfortable" she giggled tugging on it.
I released my arms from around her a little bit, as soon as she tried to get up I pulled her back.
She looked up at me, a huge grin on her face. One I will remember forever. "Come onnnn. I'll be two minutes" she said laughing.

"Ugh fineee" I said letting her go but giving her a kiss on the cheek first.
She took FOREVER. It was unbelievable.
I sighed laying onto my back, waiting for her to return. Finally after what felt like a lifetime she entered the room again.

"You are literally so whiny, I heard you from the bathroom" she said laughing as she crawled into the bed. Even without her makeup and pretty dress, she was still gorgeous. Wow.

"You took too longgg" I moaned, pulling her into my chest.
"You're such a div" she said laughing.
"You're my number one div" I said holding her close.
This time she didn't try to stand up for herself. She didn't try to fight the nickname because she knew deep down she loved it.

"Okay well I'm gonna go and brush my teeth now" I said pulling out of the hug. Her scent slowly disappearing from my nose. "Are you kidding?" She said laughing
"Nope" I answered getting out of bed and going across the hall into the bathroom.

She didn't complain whilst I was gone like I did. She just lay there waiting for me.

I walked back in, I had on my Pajama trousers and no shirt. She looked up and smiled. She watched me as I walked round to my side of the bed. "You alright there" I asked laughing at her open mouth.
"Uh yeah" she said covering up her embarrassed face.
I pulled her face up out of the covers, taking in all of her features. The way her cheeks were rosy, the sparkle in her eyes, the curve on her lips practically begging me to kiss them.
"You're so cute when you're embarrassed" I said pulling her closer to me.

I wrapped her in my arms her head buried in the crook of my neck, as we slowly dozed off to sleep.

Holly's POV:
I opened my eyes cautiously, trying to adjust them to the light beaming through the curtains. Eventually I managed to focus them. I looked over at Tom who was still sleeping peacefully. He was so cute, even when he was sound asleep.

I had no motivation to leave this bed at all but I decided I may as well get ready whilst I'm waiting for Tom to wake up.

I grabbed my blue ripped jeans and flannel from the drawer. Walking into the bathroom to get changed. For a change today I decided to curl my hair. I knew it would take a little longer so I hoped that by the time I was done Tom would be awake.

Of course I was wrong. He's so lazy in the mornings. I crawled back into bed laying beside him admiring his curls. I loved his little curls in his hair. They were just the sweetest thing ever. i ran my fingers though them watching as they pinged back into place.

Then it hit me Haz' card. I finally remembered that I hadn't read it yet. I was meeting with him today so I figured I may as well read it now so I can thank him for it.

I pulled the silver sparkly card out of its paper envelope quietly careful not to wake Tom. It was hand written. I loved that.

To Holly,

Happy birthday. I know I could just end this card by just saying happy birthday and call it a day but you know I'm mushy so I'm not doing to do that.

This past year has been a whirlwind. But as hard as it's been I still feel like our friendship has grown. When you were taken into hospital. I'm not going to lie, I lost all sense of being the positive friend. Tom had to take that role. I genuinely didn't think you were going to pull through and that pains me to say that. I sat by your side for the whole 2 months, as you would do for me.

And it got me thinking. I wouldn't be where I am today without you. I'm not just saying that for the sake of it. I mean it. I was in a really dark place when you came into my life. I know we were only 8 but still. As I'm sure you remember I was getting bullied, and you stood up for me. You told me how bullies meant nothing, you taught me what friendship is. Now thinking back on it, you had so much going on in your life yourself. You didn't need to stand up for me. You could easily have walked away and left me like everyone else did, but you're not like that. That's not the type of person you are. You took me in and welcomed me into your little friendship. You introduced Tom and i and most of all you made me realize how good it is to be alive.

I am so incredibly thankful for you, you mean the absolute world to me. I hope that you know, I will be here to do the same for you. I'll be here for you if you ever need a shoulder to cry on, a laugh or even just a conversation.

I love you, you div.

P.s. What I said in the hospital, I wasn't kidding. He loves you. He really does. Please don't break his heart. You mean the absolute world to him, you're his source of happiness, his entire soul. He was there every step of the way in the hospital with you. If that isn't enough proof for you I don't know what is. If you feel the same way make your move. I promise you it won't end in heartbreak. Show him that you love him too. I want nothing more than for you to be happy and I know that means with Tom. I can see it in your eyes when you look at him. Let him see that too.

Oh yeah also, on your wedding day i'm going to scream i told you so. Yes i am that petty.

I closed the card, a huge smile on my face. "What're you smiling about" I heard to which I turned around quickly. He was finally awake.

"Just this" I said pulling him in for a kiss.
"What was that for" he asked shock taking over him.
"Just cause" I answered smiling up at him.
"Well that prevents that awkward question I was going to ask you" he said pushing his lips back into mine. He smiled into the kiss as did I. God. He meant the absolute world to me.

"By the way" he said pulling out from the kiss momentarily. My eyes met his. "Yeah?" I asked hoping he would finish his sentence.
"You look beautiful"
"You're adorable" I said closing the gap between us again.
