Tom's POV:

It was 11PM and i was absolutely shattered. Haz had already gone home around 2 hours ago. I squeezed Holly's hand and said "Okay gorgeous, i am so tired. I think i'm gonna go home early tonight. I'll be back at usual time tomorrow morning. I love you"

i grabbed my jacket closing the door behind me. "going home early tonight Tom?" i heard my favorite nurse say. She was the one that comforted me when Holly first went into hospital. "yeah, i'm so tired" i said giving my eyes a rub. "okay, well i'm glad you're taking care of yourself" she said a smile on her face. "yeah- just take care of her though. Let me know if there's any changes" i said walking out.

I arrived back at home quietly closing the door behind me knowing the chances of my family being awake were slim. "hey honey" my mum said wrapping me in a hug. "how's Holly" she asked pulling out of the hug. "no changes" i said sadly.
"it's okay.. she's gonna make it" my mum said.
i nodded and started to head up to my room. "goodnight" i said to my mum before shutting the door.

I lay down in bed. The same bed just a couple of weeks ago i was having a tickle fight with Holly, the same bed that just a couple of nights ago i discovered her bruises. The same bed Holly and i have cuddled in the majority of nights.

I got myself in a comfortable position before finally falling asleep.

2 Hours later:

I woke up to the sound of my phone ringing violently. Was that my alarm already? I turned around grabbing my phone. My eyes adjusting the the bright light shining in my face. It was an unregistered number, i answered.

"Hello?" i said extremely confused as to who was phoning me at 1 AM.
"Mr Holland?" they said. Clarifying my name
"yes, who is this" i asked, the tiredness in my voice showing
"We've been calling you for 10 minutes. This is the hospital" they said which made me waken immediately. Omg no.

I jumped out of bed, pulling on my jeans as i talked on the phone.
"I- It's Holly. She had a seizure" they said my heart dropped
"is she okay?" i asked practically yelling.
"Um... not exactly" they said
I hung up the phone and ran down the stairs as fast as i could not caring who i woke up in the process.

"Tom?" i heard my mum say concerned. "what's wrong" she asked
"Holly. She's had a seizure. She's not doing okay. I need to go" i said panic stricken.
My whole family looked at me in shock. Tears rolling down the majority of their faces.
"Keep us updated" my mum yelled as i ran out of the door.

I ran as fast as my feet would take me into the critical care unit. Running past all of the doctors and into Holly's room where i saw multiple doctors surrounding her. "you can't be in here" i heard a nurse say trying to get me out but easily giving up. "whats happening" i asked quickly.
"her heart rate is dropping" i heard a doctor yell as the other doctors started getting the defibrillator ready. "get him out" i heard a doctor yell. I fought so hard to stay in that room but, was dragged out.

What was i supposed to do. Just sit here?! Just wait for them so be done?
I pulled out my phone dialing Harrison's number. He answered in 3 rings. "Hello?" he said his voice deep from just having woke up.
"hi.. Haz come to the hospital. RIGHT NOW" i yelled though the phone shaking in fear.
"what? what happened? is Holly okay?"
"i don't really know. They won't let me in. GET HERE NOW" i said once again panic taking over me.

Within 10 minutes Haz was here. It was clear he had been speeding in order to get here so quickly.
i explained everything to him and we just sat in total silence until a doctor came out finally.
We both stood up in unison
"is she alright?" i asked immediately
"Yes.. but she's not in stable condition. She could have another seizure any time" he said
A tear rolled down my face "can we see her" i asked
" yes but please just have one in. She's extremely fragile right now" he said

I looked at Haz until eventually he said "you go"
"Thank you! I'll let you know what's happening" i said making my way to Holly's room. The room i had spent the last 3 weeks in.

I sat beside her, shaking. i took her hand in mine, kissing her on the forehead. "You gave me such a fright. Please don't do anything like that again. I'm so sorry. Of course the one night i go home early this happens. I love you so so much. Please dont ...." i was cut off. She was having another seizure her machine was beeping like crazy.
"HELPPPP!" i screamed poking my head through the door.
"Holly it's okay you're gonna be okay" i yelled over all of the noise.

It was awful seeing her like this. She looked like she was going to die and for a second there i really thought she was.

She was still seizing until, suddenly it stopped.
