I walk in and see Steven asleep on the couch with Nora in his arms. Connie comes in and kisses Steven on the cheek while kissing Nora on the forehead
Me:Did I come at a bad time?
Connie:Shh. No you didn't. It's been a few months, Jeremy. How were your holidays?
Me:Eh. They were quiet. What about you all? How was Nora's first Christmas?
Connie:Absolutely beautiful. Then New Year's Eve came and we all watched the Fireworks with the Gems and my parents.
Me:Sounds nice. Oh yeah, this dare from Parameshwarran :
Connie:*giggles* We already did. And Mom and Dad love her. Mom practically took Nora right out of my arms. Never thought she'd be so happy to be a Grandmother.
Me:Well that's good. Now that leaves Steven's extended family and you know who I mean.
Connie:Already did. Why do you think Steven's so exhausted? Explaining things to the Diamonds wasn't easy at all. I thought I was going to me killed until they saw Nora and just loved her. Steven stood in Blue's hand while he held Nora to show them. Garnet helped out as well.
Me:Heh. Sounds like things have been OK.
