*TIME SKIP: 10 years into the Future. Steven is 27 while Connie is 25. Connie is now out of college and back home with Steven as the two are damn near inseparable. They are in the process of moving in together and are closing in on finding a place of their own.*
*However, Steven has something planned. He looks out on the beach as Garnet comes up to him.*
Garnet:This brings back memories, doesn't it?
Steven:Yeah. It does. But things will be different this time. Connie and I are both stable and the timing couldn't be more right.
Garnet:*smiles* And we all couldn't agree more. Which is why I had Bismuth make these.
*Garnet hands Steven two rings. Steven smiles as he kisses Garnet on the cheek. He then feels his phone vibrate.*
Steven:That must mean Connie's on her way. *takes a deep breath* Gotta think positive.
Garnet:You can do this, Steven. Block all the memories of what happened years ago out of your head. Focus on the here and now. Let your love for Connie...your future wife....calm your mind and pull you through this. We all believe in you. And no matter the outcome, we'll love you both the same.

*Connie arrives a few minutes later....and gasps as Steven has his guitar and a nice picnic prepared. Just like him, Connie soon gets memories of what happened years ago. But she smiles because she knows in her heart that there will be a different outcome this time. And it was one she was more than ready for.*
