Connie:Yes. There was an incident where-surprise surprise-Kevin tried to start a problem and harass us while we were on a date. Steven, of course, didn't like that and hates Kevin as it is, so a few very rude insults about him being a "monster" and a "freak" later and he's gone full Pink/Buff form and is beating the everliving crap out of Kevin! In fact, it got so bad that the Gems had to get involved.
Me:And I'm assuming THAT'S where things went to Hell...
Connie:Yep. Steven is very strong in that form. Stronger than any of the Gems, even Lapis or Garnet. The problem is that he also becomes VERY unstable and can get out of control in that form, which is exactly what happened when Pearl and Garnet tried to intervene and Steven thought they were attacking him and poofed them AND Amethyst afterward!
Me:Then how did you manage to calm him in that form?
Connie:Well. I know how strong he is in that form. He could snap me or anyone else like a twig. So as much as it hurt me, I did the only thing that I knew would work....
*Flashback*
Connie:Sorry about this, Steven. I'm only doing it because I love you...
Fragmented Steven:What could you possibly....OOOF!
*Steven falls to the ground, clutching his balls as he turns back to his normal and lovable self*
Connie:*kneels down and kisses him* Better? Still love me?
Steven:*wheezingly* Yes....I love you
*Back to the present time*
Me:HAHAHAHA!!!
Connie:Oh stop. Don't tell him I told you that story! I hated myself afterwards for kicking him in that area! Even after Garnet, Pearl and Amethyst told him why and how none of them hold it against him or me for Kevin's stupidity!
Me:Nah. I just find it funny that as strong as Steven is in that form, his one weakness is the weakness of every guy: Being kicked in the nuts. I don't care how strong you are: If a guy gets kicked there, he's going down HARD.
Connie:*sighs*
