Chapter 43

She had a smug face. "Is everything okay?" She asked. My fists returned. "What's with the face?" She asked. I bit my lip holding in my tears. "What happened between Ross and you?" I asked. She smiled as if thinking back to it. "Nothing important." She said. I instantly stomped my foot. She jumped a bit. "Don't fucking lie to me! Tell me the truth!" I shouted at her. "Why don't you ask him?" She asked. "Would I be here if I didn't?" I asked. She laughed like it was the most funniest thing. "Bitch! Tell me so I don't have to waste my time here." I say. "Then why are you? Your pathetic." She said. "Call me any name in the book. I don't care. What happened between you and my boyfriend!?" I asked. "Isn't it obvious?" She chuckled. I lost all control and bitch slapped her across the face. She held her cheek and looked at me through her teary eyes. I turned around to walk away. "Your a slut." She said. "I didn't sleep with anyone's boyfriend." I say and kept walking away. As soon as I was out of her sight, my tears started pouring. He lied to me!Those family plans didn't take most of his time. I trusted him! He promised me! He broke that promise! He cheated on me! He doesn't care! Its always 'I'm sorry.'  I've had that before but this time is different. Now its a habit. He can't get rid of it! I knew this was happening but why so soon!? My phone started ringing. His face appears. I ran my fingers through my hair.

"What!?" I answered. "Where the hell are you!?" He asked. "As far away from you as possible!" I shouted. "Don't talk to me that way!" He said. I sighed. "I have to go." I say. Any second now I'll probably ask him to come get me. "Laura! Don't you dare!!" He said. I raised the phone away from my ear. "Goodnight." I say and hang up with him still screaming my name. I turned it off and continued walking. This is happening. Its really happening. He really did this to me. Out of all the things he could've done to me! He might as well park his car on me. It would hurt less. Just then a car honked at me. I slowly walked. Someone came out of it. "Laura!?" I heard. I looked up and it was his sister. "Rydel...." I cried. She ran over. "Oh my god. What's wrong? Its freezing out here." She said throwing her jacket over my shoulders. "He- He.." I cried on her shoulders. "Kat?" She asked.I nodded.

Wait! She knew!? "My dad told me to go check on you but your here looking like your going to the club and crying." She said. I chuckled. "Just take me to your house and convince your siblings to lie for me." I pleaded. "What? No. You have to go back home." She said. "He's there." I say. "You mean the guy approaching us?" She asked. I looked up. He really was. I held her arm tighter. "Its okay." She whispered. He was pissed for sure. I hid behind Rydel. He took a deep breath. She stared at him. I wiped my face."Why?" She asked him. "I-" She cut him off. "No! How could you do that to her you selfish son of a bitch!?! Why would  you!?" She asked. "She came onto me in my defense!" He defended. "So you did your first instinct!? Did you stop to think!? Look at the poor girl!!" She said forcing him to look at me. "Enough Delly. Its okay. Take me home and I would like to be in bed." I say. She nodded understanding.

"Are you sure your okay?" She asked. I nodded. She felt uncomfortable. I could see it in her eyes. "Its okay.I'm fine." I say. "Even with that?" She asked. "Yeah." I sniffed. She hugged me. I hugged back. She pulled away and glared at him as she left. "I love you...." He whispered in my ear. I shivered. I turned around to face him. "I'm s-" I slapped him across the face. He turned around and looked at me through his angry eyes. "What the hell!?" He asked. I sucked in a big breath and grabbed his shoulders. I I raised my knee and kneed him as hard as I could. "Fuck!" He cried out, falling to his knees. "I love you." I said and walked to my room. I then locked the door. I changed and got into my bed. I slowly cried myself to sleep as I heard him groaning in pain. I cracked a smile and soon I was out like a light.
