"I can't believe you said that to your dad." He whispered. I nodded. We were in our jeweled spot. I sat up on him. "I didn't want to but I guess it just came out." I say. He rolled over. He looked at me. "Don't ruin your relationship with your parents for me." He said rubbing my cheek. I wrapped my arms around his neck and played with the hair on his neck. "I won't. It's just that my dad kinda went over board." I say. "What do you mean?" He asked. "He kinda totally bashed your love for me. He said you only were with me because you wanted sex and that's all to our relationship." I say. He looked me. "You believe that?" He asked. "Of course not. Not even in the slightest." I tell him. He wrapped his arm over my shoulder. He kissed my head.

"You shouldn't be so harsh on your dad. I mean he did raise you along with your mother. They care about you. They just want what's best for you." He said. He was right. No one can ever replace your parents. They might get on you nerves and all but at the end of the day, their who know you best and want what's best for you. "But did he have to dig a hole?" I asked. He looked me in my eyes. "Look at it this way. Your his daughter. And I guess your dad has realised that your no longer his little girl. You've grown into a strong independent woman and I guess he's realised that his little girl, doesn't need him as much." He said. I smiled. "You really think so?" I asked. "If not then clearly your dad hates my guts. But who could hate me, I'm adorable." He said. I giggled. "There's that giggle." He said poking my side. I laugh. "Stop." I say. "Are you good or do I have to sweet talk you?" He asked. I wrapped my arms around him. "I'm good." I say. "Good. Talk to your dad." He said. I nodded. "I will. Just for you.Who I'm not allowed to see." I tell him. "What?" He asked.

"Yeah. He kinda grounded me and said I wasn't allowed to see you. But I'm willing to break some rules." I say. He removed my arms and took them in his hands. "Oh no. I'm rubbing off on you." He said. I smiled. "So? Its not like I was gonna sneak around with you at midnight anyway." I say. He gave me a look. "Like your doing right now." He smirked. I crossed my arms. "Psh...What? Pfft...No." I say subtle. He looked at me. "Oh shut up." I say. "That's what I thought." He smirked. "Look this Friday is Kimmey's party. You should totally come with." He said. I chuckled. "No. I don't like parties." I say. "Well your invited to this one." He said. I looked at him confused. He pulled me and kissed me. I smiled. The party in his mouth.

I fixed myself up as he pulled away. "I can't keep you here all night. First your dad will kill me and then my mom will kill me." He said. "Look on the bright side. Only one of them can kill you. The other either cries or curses you. That's all to it." I say smiling like a goof. He glared at me."Your going home." He said. "Or I can spend the night with you." I say making circles on his chest. He stopped my hand. "Bed. Now." He said. I rolled my eyes. "Clearly someone's cranky." I say rolling his hair around in my fingers. "Is there anywhere else I should take away from you?" He asked as he held both my hands. "No." I giggled. "Lets get you home." He said taking me off his lap and setting his chair. He then started the car. I almost instantly fell asleep.

"Morning." My dad greeted. I looked at him and sat the table with a bowl of cereal. "Morning." I say lowly. "Laura. Honey I want to apologise for the things I said last night. I trust Ross and I trust you to make decisions that are best for you." He said. I took a bite out of my cereal. "I'm sorry about what I said. It's just you haven't been home lately and neither has mom. He's been taking care of me since we moved here." I say looking away. "I understand. Your my daughter and I just realised now that your 18, you'll make your own decisions, live your own life and forget about me." He said sadly. Ross was right? "Dad. I'll always need you. Your my dad." I say caising him to smile slightly. "You really have grown up. Where did the time go?" He asked. I chuckled as I hugged him. "I'll always be here." I say. He nodded. "You can see Ross. I was over reacting. You deserve to be happy." He said. I smiled hugging him tighter. He groaned. "Uh... A little tight sweetie. I'm a bit old. Easy with the excitement." He said patting my head. I laugh.

"Hey Dyl!" I greeted. "Sup mama! You look different." He said. "Different how?" I asked. He studied me. He smirked. "What?" I asked. "Your no longer girly." He said. What the hell does that mean? "By any chance did bad boy crawl in?" He asked. I raised an eyebrow. "Sometimes you worry me." I say facing my locker.I get my books and turn to face him. "Your something." I say. He laughed. "I'm your best friend." He said poking my cheek as we started to walk to class. "Oh no." He said. "What?" I asked. "Your guy is here." He said. Just then his arm came over my shoulder. "I'm taking you to the mall after school. This is not acceptable." He whispered. I giggled. "Good morning to you too." I giggled as I pecked his lips. He then turned his attention towards Dylan. "Don't worry. You can have the cookie. I'm not really into it." He said blushing. I chuckled. "Is he?" He whispered. I nodded. "Nice to meet you." He said fist bumping him. He smiled. "So I'm guessing your just gonna let him be around me now aren't you?" I asked. He shook his head. "Not a chance."
