Chapter 11

I woke up with his warm feeling. It was only one night but felt like we have done this forever. I slowly slipped out of his grip. "Where are you going?" He asked. I stopped. "Just to use the bathroom." I said. He held my hand. "Lay with me." He said. I shook my head and walked to the bathroom. I took a shower and brushed my teeth. I wrapped my hair up and walked into my room. I see him turned away from my closet. I slowly walk in there and close it behind me and get dressed.

I brushed my hair. I slipped my top on and my phone rang. Derek. "Hello?" I answer. "Hey. Listen I need to ask you something." He said. "Sure." I say. He clears his throat. "Look. I really like you and I wanted to know if there is anything between you and him?" He asked. I laughed lightly. "Not even in the slightest. There is nothing at all between us."I say. Arms came around me. Oh no. "Who are you talking to?" He whispered in my ear. I froze. "If that is so then would you go on a date with me next weekend?" He asked. I smiled. "I would l-" He grabbed my phone and turned it off. "Hey!" I say looking at him. "What?" He asked innocently. "You just hung up on Derek!! He was gonna ask me out!!!"I shouted angry. "Chill babe. I'm sure I just saved you from disaster." He said. I stomped off. I didn't know where I was going but I didn't want to be in my own home.

I spent the whole day outside. It was nice and calm. I felt the weather start to pick up and before I knew it, it was raining. I saw Derek and quickly walked over to him. "Look I'm sorry about earlier. Ross cut my phone an-" He looked at me." Seriously? Him again? Look I think you guys have a thing for each other. You might not know it but if he goes to the strengths of not allowing you to talk to any other guy, he definately likes you. I think your really cool and I wanted to be more than friends but now I say we should just stick to that." He said. "I understand." I say.He smiles and touches my cheeks. "Now go tell him how you feel." He said. "I can't. I don't want to get turned down." I say. He chuckles lightly because he seems he wanted to say something but he didn't at the same time. I nodded. "Go. I know you can do it". He said. I smiled as he kissed my cheek. I turned towards the direction of my house and ran.

I was gonna get sick so I rested under the tree in the park. My clothes were soaked. I closed my eyes and tried to catch my breath. I felt fingers prick my cheek. I opened my eyes and look at him in front of me. "What are you doing out here?" He asked. He was soaking also. His white tee soaked through making his abs perfectly visible. He was so toned and muscular. His hair was messy and he ran his hand through it making him extremely sexy. I bit my lip. "I asked a question." He said and then came closer. "I was on my way home." I say. Lighting flashes and the light rain becomes heavy rain.

"I'm sorry." He whispered. "Of course you are!!" I shouted. He moved my hair to the side and brought his face close to mine. He brought our lips together pinning me against the tree. I calmed down as he pulled me closer and wrapped his arms around my waist. I slowly wrapped mine around his neck. His lips were so soft and I just got the kissing in the rain scene from those sappy romance movies. It was a nice and slow kiss and what seemed like an hour only lasted a few minutes. I didn't know what it was but I was just aching to be touched by him. As our mind reminded us we needed oxygen, we slowly pulled away every now and then meeting each other's lips. I slowly opened my eyes which I didn't even realize they closed. He was looking at me and he slowly backed away. I felt that was a sign of rejection and dashed away.
