Chapter 51

"Now why on earth would you knock those kids out!?" She asked. He cracked his knuckles and looked at me. "Are you okay?" He whispered. He checked me all over. "I'm fine. Thanks to you." I say. He wiped the dry tear stains on my cheek. "Leave the girl alone!" She said as he engulfed me in a big hug. "Why don't you look at your cameras!? Then find out why I punched those guys." He said through his gritted teeth. "I was assaulted!" I say. She looked between us. "What!? That kind of behavior is not accepted in my school! Who did this!?" She asked. I rolled my eyes. "The four jocks he knocked out that would be." I say. She picked up her phone and dialed for security. He pecked my cheek. I was shaking. I never wanna go through this again. I didn't wanna let go. A few guys walked in and suddenly started to pull me away. "Noo! Ross!!" I shouted. I looked at the principle. "What are you doing!?" I asked. "He's going to be question!" She said. "What!? Why!? He didn't do anything! He saved me!" I say. "What if he wanted to finish what they started on you?" She asked. "What!? Why would he do that!? He's my boyfriend! He wouldn't touch me in anyway I didn't like! Tell her!" I yelled at him. His eyes started to change. Oh no. "Let go of him!" I said.

"No! He's going down town." She said. "No. I was assaulted and he helped me! He didn't assault me!" I say. "I will be taking that into consideration. Off you go." She said. "No! Ross!!" I screamed for him. I tried to reach him. The security guards held me as they cuffed him and took him. "I am the victim! Why won't you believe me!?" I asked. "Take her away too. Call her parents and get those kids up on their feet again. I will not have issues like this happen in my school." She said.  "Let go of me!!" I shouted. They let go of me. "Your arresting the wrong guy! He would never do that to me! He loves me!" I say. "Tell it to someone who cares!" She said. I pushed the guy and ran out of her office. I quickly dialed Stormie but it went to voicemail. She must be at work. I called Rydel and same thing. But she texted. 'No time for call. Text me quickly before I have to turn it off.' She wrote..I quickly texted her explaining everything. 'I'll be there in like 6 or 7 minutes.' She replied. This can't be happening. What  the hell!? Wait! Did she tell them to call my parents!? Oh hell no! I ran back inside.

"There is some confusion going on. He's not the one who assaulted me." I say looking at the officer. She raised her eyebrow at me. "Really? Then who is?" She asked. "Jackson. The big hocky jock! Since I came to this school, he's the only one that hs tried attacking me." I say. "You know? If your dressing some girl who's standing at the corner, don't think you won't get assaulted." She said. What did she just say!? I looked at her badge. "Excuse? Dressing-- I want my boyfriend back and isn't it against the law to be on the case of a related family member?" I ask. "Especially if that family member is your son?" I smirked. She knitted eyebrows together and leaned towards me. "If you weren't dressing like a whore, this wouldn't have drew attention. And it isn't the first time dealing with Lynch." She said. I balled my fist. Did she just call me a whore?! "This is the first time of you dealing with your son and Lynch and you'll do anything to keep him out of trouble. I need you to  watch that footage and then speak. I will not defy the authority but authority will not be breaking rules and laws." I say getting off the chair. "This is the only footage?" She asked. "Yeah." I say. She broke it and threw it away. I gave her another copy. She broke that one too. I opened her laptop and had it playing. "You just might be out of a job. You serve for justice, and I want justice against your son. Either you tell them the truth or I do it myself!" I say and march out her office. As soon as I did, he was waiting for me outside. I quickly ran over and jumped on him. He hugged me tightly.

"Your okay!?" I say. I heard him chuckle very faintly. Oh no. Don't tell me. "They told me this isn't your first time being here." I say. He looked at me. "Home." He said. I nodded. I jumped down and we got in the car. "I'm great too! Thanks for asking." Rydel said behind me. I chuckled and got out to greet her. "Make sure he gets some rest and water. He was told a few things so he's gonna be cold for a bit." She whispered to me. Like what!? "What?" I asked. "I got to get to class but take care of him". She said and quickly walked away. I got in the car and drove us to my house. He walked in and just sat on the couch. He stared off into space and didn't look at me. I know something's wrong because his eyes weren't the warm color I adore so much. They looked dark. Almost black. I brought him a glass of water. I was gonna hand it to him when suddenly, I heard a smash. I jumped as I looked to see the glass I was just holding, is now on the ground in pieces and near my feet which is bleeding. "Well would you look at that?" I say feeling all woozy. He stood up and walked up to me. I was held in his arms as I was out like a light. But if I only knew the darkness I was going to wake up to.
