Chapter 30

This place was amazing. "Wow." I say. "You like?" He asked. "Yes. Did you do this?" I asked. We were in this cave looking place. It was shiny and in the center he had a picnic set up for us. He took my hand and brought me over to it. "Look up." He smiled. I looked. "Ross+Laura=" was engraved into it. I smiled. "I got you this. I hope it makes up for all time I've been a total ass." He said handing me a box. I smiled. "Open it." He said. I handed it to him. "You open it." I say. We sat down and he opened it and showed it to me. I gasped. "Oh my god!" I say. He took my hand and slipped it on my wrist. He brought me a charm bracelet. It was vintage and matched my skin tone.

"Thank you." I smile. "I want you to know its totally all over." He said. "Your not lieing to me are you?" I asked. He moved a strand of hair behind my ear. "No. It's all over. I have realized what I wanted and it's you." He said. "You mean that?" I smiled. "Yes. There is no one better than you. I love you. I'm not just saying it. I mean it." He said. "I love you too." I say and peck his cheek. I then looked at the spread in front of us. Chocolate covered strawberries, gogurt,baked zidi,some fruit, some type of smoothie and some water along with juice. "You made it?" I asked holding up the zidi. "Yes." He said. I smiled. I fed him as he did the same. He refused to take gogurt so I helped myself to it.

"Dance with me?" He asked. I blush. "I can't." I say. He raised an eyebrow. I slowly got up. "You can't? Well here." He said fixing our positions to dance. He turned on the music and placed his hands on waist. I smiled and wrapped my arms around his neck. We slow danced around the whole place. A beautiful setting with a somewhat sweet guy. He's put me through a lot but for some reason I'm able to let it all go. I rested my head on his chest and listened to his beating heart. I felt at peace. I can't put into words exactly how I feel. So many different emotions running through me. I lifted my head and looked up at him. He kissed my forehead. "I love you." He said. "I love you too." I say pulling him into a kiss. He smiled and kissed back.

"Try this." Alex said. I smiled as I tried a type of Hispanic spice. "This is good." I say. He smiled. "My mom always kinda encouraged it." He smiled. "You don't have to be nervous around me." I say looking at his hands gripping the table. "Just be yourself." I said. "It's just that your so pretty." He said. I blushed. "Thank you. Your not so bad yourself either." I say. He smiled. He's so sweet and doesn't hide his blushing face from me. "Is Ross your boyfriend?" He suddenly asked. "Honestly?" I asked. "Yeah". He said. "I don't know what we are." I say. He held my hand. "I'll always be here for you." He said. I smiled looking into his eyes. Nothing but pure caring. "Thanks but I think you should stay away from me." I frown. "Friends?" He asked. "Yes. But I don't want him doing anything to hurt you." I say. He smiled. "Can I ask you one thing?" He asked. "Of course." I say. "Do you love him? Even though he cheated on you numerous times?" He asked. I gulped. "Yeah. I don't think my feelings towards him will ever change." I say. He plays with my cheeks. "Aww. Your so in love." He said. I smiled. "I guess I am."
