I sat at the piano listening to my father, Andrew, talk about our God. I smiled as I watched different people walk up to pray with him. He quietly spoke to the group of people. I couldn't hear but I knew he was touching their hearts.

I took my eyes off the group and looked around the small church of people. Some kids from school sat together while others sat with their family. My eyes scanned over a few boys. One smirking my way making me blush and look away.

I smiled as I stared at the floor and looked back at them. The Blonde headed boy was still staring at me.

"Melissa. Sweetie." My dad spoke.

I looked at him and saw it was time for me to play. I smiled and turned around. I moved my hair behind my shoulders and placed my fingers on the piano keys before beginning.

Well I've heard there was a secret chord
That David played and it pleased the Lord
But you don't really care for music, do you?
Well it goes like this:
The fourth, the fifth, the minor fall and the major lift
The baffled king composing Hallelujah
Hallelujah
Hallelujah
Hallelujah
Hallelujah
Well your faith was strong but you needed proof
You saw her bathing on the roof
Her beauty and the moonlight overthrew ya
She tied you to her kitchen chair
And she broke your throne and she cut your hair
And from your lips she drew the Hallelujah

Well I've heard there was a secret chord
That David played and it pleased the Lord
But you don't really care for music, do you?
Well it goes like this:
The fourth, the fifth, the minor fall and the major lift
The baffled king composing Hallelujah
Hallelujah
Hallelujah
Hallelujah
Hallelujah
Well your faith was strong but you needed proof
You saw her bathing on the roof
Her beauty and the moonlight overthrew ya
She tied you to her kitchen chair
And she broke your throne and she cut your hair
And from your lips she drew the Hallelujah

Hallelujah
Hallelujah
Hallelujah
Hallelujah
But baby I've been here before
I've seen this room and I've walked this floor
You know, I used to live alone before I knew ya
And I've seen your flag on the marble arch
And love is not a victory march
It's a cold and it's a broken Hallelujah
Hallelujah
Hallelujah
Hallelujah
Hallelujah
Well there was a time when you let me know
What's really going on below
But now you never show that to me do ya
But remember when I moved in you
And the holy dove was moving too
And every breath we drew was Hallelujah
Hallelujah
Hallelujah
Hallelujah
Hallelujah
Maybe there's a God above
But all I've ever learned from love
Was how to shoot somebody who outdrew ya
And it's not a cry that you hear at night
It's not somebody who's seen the light
It's a cold and it's a broken Hallelujah
Hallelujah
Hallelujah
Hallelujah
Hallelujah
Hallelujah
Hallelujah
Hallelujah
Hallelujah
Hallelujah
Hallelujah
Hallelujah
Hallelujah
Hallelujah.

I finished with everyone clapping. I stood up and curtsied. I smiled and walked to my dad. He wrapped his arm around my shoulder.

"Before you leave. I am organizing a camp for the summer. My daughter here will get you signed up over at the desk behind me. I will be here if any of you need to or want to talk." he announced.

He handed me the sign up sheet and I walked over to the desk. I took a seat and helped people sign up there was surprisingly a couple people who signed up.

As me and my dad began walking out I spotted the four boys talking around a bunch of girls. I excused myself from my dad and made my way over to them. I stood in between a couple of people. Everyone went quiet.

"Do you need something bitch?" A girl asked me, the group all laughed.

" I just wanted to know their names." I spoke staring at the blonde.

He stopped laughing and looked at me.

"There's Michael, Ashton,Calum and me Luke." he laughed pointing to each person.

"I'm Melissa." I smiled and held my hand out.

He looked down at my hand and laughed. I pulled my hand back as the group laughed. I quickly turned and got in the passengers seat of my dad's car.
