Ashanti POV
"So how's everything going with your mom and stuff" Daisy ask as she laid her head on the table.
We was currently at crab in and was waiting on our food to be served, it's been three day since I seen Daisy but I get that we both have so much going on we really can't make time for each other.
"It's fine... we still not talking" I said as I moved my straw that was in my cup around
"Did you even try cause you know sometimes you can be stubborn" Daisy said as she stare at me trying to read me.
"I'm not the one being stubborn I actually tried talking to her for like the 100th time but she just either avoided me or would say something simple and leave." I said frowning
I never knew I was stubborn but I guess I never realized that because of me being stubborn, I guess daughter like mother.
Maybe I should try to not be just like my mother, I do miss talking to Raven. I wonder if she misses me.
"Mhm, I don't know two stubborn people in the same room you wouldn't know whose being stubborn" She said with a raised eyebrows
"That didn't even make sense" I said as held in my laughter
"It did but a simple minded person like you wouldn't understand-" Daisy began to say but stopped as she held her mouth and ran straight to the bathroom
Not processing everything I sat there for a minute before getting up and going towards the women's bathroom.
The sound of Daisy throwing up could be heard as I entered the bathroom.
"Daisy are you okay" I said knocking on the stall realizing it was lock so I couldn't even go in to help her.
"I'm fine.. my body have been acting up lately" She said before throwing up again.
"Daisy how long have you been throwing up" I asked trying to piece something I've been speculating since before.
"Umm i don't know since a month ago but usually it only happen in the morning" she said as she flushed the toilet
I don't remember Daisy throwing up in the mornings, I would've heard her especially since I'm a light sleeper she must've hide it from me.
"Daisy have you taken a pregnancy test since you broke up with your ex" i ask as I bit my finger nails out of nervousness
"Come on Ashanti why would I be pregnant I was on birth control at the time" She said as she exited the stall
"Daisy I'm for real I think you need to take one because I noticed you gained weight but I just didn't think of it like that" I said as I watch her wash her hands and cleaned her face
"Ashanti stop okay I'm not pregnant please stop talking about it" Daisy said with irritation in her voice
"Daisy I know you don't want to be pregnant and especially by someone who hurt you but I think you should just check just to make sure" I said ignoring her request for me to stop talking about
