30: news to us allAfter the elevator fiasco, Ronzé suggested he meets my family since I met his; since I guess his mother is the only one in his tree.
My grandad would be released from the hospital tomorrow morning, and we would have breakfast with all of them—
"If he passes my tests at dinner then he can be allowed to also attend breakfast with your grandfather," My mother says to me.
Through the other end of the phone, I sigh, "Okay Mom."
"And he better be dressed like a proper young man and not some hood n—"
My mom is interrupted by the voice of my grams, "Nicole shuddafuq up and let her be!"
I snickered.
"Don't laugh at me," She hissed, "Just be safe and get here already, I miss your face. Bye."
"Bye," And I hang up.
Aaronzé sit's back in his seat, "Your phone could not have been any louder."
"Sorry," I apologized, "I don't know why she feels so weird about you."
He shakes his head and turns the radio down, "Nevermind that.. I had a question."
"Hm?"
Aaronzé makes a wide turn, "What's your take on the situation with that.. bear?"
I glance over at him. Had he seen me and that creature together? Did he see what happened that day at the construction site?
