Abrianna

If killing this jerk beside me is a privilege then I would have done it long time ago. Imagine how reality slapped me when he told me a while back that we will have a dinner in their house. Not just a simple dinner but a damn family dinner. His family with my family! The heck!

He knew about it. All of them knew except me. Dammit. He must have laughed at me for not knowing anything about this event.

And I am not naive not to realize the purpose of this dinner. It is like a pamamanhikan thing which they should have done ages ago. Tsk. They really have it now because I am back.

"Didn't know you like me that much wife to have all your attention on me" he glances at me.

"Damn you" I cuss him but he laughs instead.

"You've been glaring at me since we left, wife just so you know" He stops when the red light shines. "Can't still move on?" he grins.

I swear my palm has been tingling from hitting him. One more word and I will definitely hit him. "Shut up Cervantes"

But he winks making me madly glare at him to the maiximum level kaya mas lalo siyang natawa. Oh God. How irritating he is! I wish I could just bang his head on the wheel. He starts driving again when the go signal shines.

I've been stressed out these pass few hours and I swear it is not good. Ang daming nangyari ngayong araw. From my talk to Dylan, to the incident in my office to my meet up with the old man and now this dinner. It feels like a week has passed already since I arrived when in reality, wala pa akong isang linggo dito sa bansa.

"How did you manage to install a camera in my office?" I ask him.

I saw it earlier on my way out. Good thing I have 20/20 vision or else hindi ko malalaman. And damn. Whoever is the one who installed it, he is good. The camera was camouflaged with the dark brown cabinet beside my table and it was installed perfectly basing from its location and angle kaya hindi talaga ito makikita agad. I would not have noticed it. I might even mistook it as a sensor.

That's the reason why he called exactly the moment I entered my office and when Dylan barged in. He has been watching me all along. Tsk.

He lightly chuckles. "You noticed it fast, huh?"

I roll my eyes."Complementing me won't work, Cervantes. Just answer."

"You're too confident, wife" He says while shaking his head. Whether that's an insult or a compliment, I don't care.

"I know. It's inborn. Now, answer my question and stop redirecting the topic" Akala ba niya maliligaw niya ako sa pagpuri niya? Tsk. I'm already used with that kind of style so it isn't new.

He is just like my father. They like to turn the tables around.

He chuckles. "Well.." he starts. "I have people inside Hontiveros' territory. They do the work for me"

He has spies inside the company?

"You spill the tea easily. So unlikely of you" He smirks. From what I have observed from him, he isn't the type to tell his plans or whatever it is.

"I might tell this to Dylan you know" I uninterestedly say to probe him further though I don't have a plan on telling it to Dylan. Just what's with his people inside Hontiveros' corporation?
