Abrianna

Cervantes wasn't kidding. I woke up the next day with five people sitting in my living room, waiting for me. Just by their uniforms alone, I can tell who they are.

And he truly left but he left a note, saying he'll meet me in the Philippines.

People are rushing. Stores are busy and almost in their full capacity. I look up and the view of the magnificent buildings greets me.

Hindi ko mapigilang mapabuntong hininga.

I guess this is indeed the reality. Indeed, time will come that we will say goodbye to the things we once fancied to. It's a common notion but weighs a ton. You'll soon bid farewell and face what's ahead of you.

And in my case, I'll leave this place I once enjoyed. Besides those times are just stolen moment. I just ran away afterall.

Lumabas agad akong makarating kami.

"Ma'am wait!" Cervantes' personal assistant shouted. But I ignored him and went inside.

They can stay in the lobby or in the cafe near our building but they should never be 5 meters near me.

Mabilis akong pumasok at iniwan sila sa sasakyan. Yes, they all followed except for the maid because I told her to stay and fix my things.

It was past 10:00 when I gathered my team for my final instructions. Pinakilala ko na rin sa kanila si Chris as the new project manager. They are happy because they know she can handle the job.

Nagkaroon kami ng kaunting salo-salo and Dylan joined us. He came with three boxes of pizza. The atmosphere became awkward and tensed with his presence but he managed to lighten up the mood.

Everything went smooth until the day came.

I am looking at my place for the last time when Nema, the maid Cervantes sent, speaks.

"Ma'am your luggage is in the car already"

I nod acknoledging her words. "Tell everyone I'll be there in a minute"

This little place who sheltered me for almost year. I slide my hands on the counter. It is still the same even if I stay or leave. Empty. No paintings nor decorations. It's just my room which has a single painting and a frame as decorations. The rest is all dull.

This will be my last day in this place because I already processed the papers. This unit is already for sale.

I heard from Grego, Cervantes' personal assistant, that we will be in a compound where the pane is waiting.

"Ma'am the ride is approximately 3 hours from the city. You can take a nap while we are travelling" sabi ni Alexis.

They are approaching, patient and nice. Hindi sila mareklamo. Maybe because they are afraid of their boss. Cervantes must have had threaten them. I mentally roll my eyes. Tsk

Gaya ng sabi ni Alexis, natulog ako. Nagising lamang ako nang malapit na kami.

Pagdating namin sa location, bumungad sa akin ang malawak na field and standing on the edge of the stair are the crew and the pilot.
