10. 𝘛𝘏𝘌 𝘊𝘈𝘝𝘈𝘓𝘙𝘠 𝘉𝘈𝘛𝘛𝘓𝘌

"Now then, here is the second game!" Midnight said, pointing at the screen. "A Cavalry battle!" She announced.

Midnight then went off to explain how the game works, she explained that the participants can form teams of two to four people and that based on the results of the last game each person has been assigned a point value. "And the point value assigned to first place is ten million!" My eyes widened at her words and I looked over to Midoriya to see him white as a ghost.

"You have fifteen minutes to choose your team!" Exclaimed Midnight, I yawned and stretched my wings. I jumped at the feeling of someone's hand on my shoulder "Gah! Oh, it's you... Don't scare me like that..." I sighed at Shoto, he apologized. He made direct eye contact and cleared his throat. "y/n, be my teammate." He blurted, I raised my eyebrows. Always so blunt and direct isn't he? "Sure." I smiled, he sighed a small sigh of relief. Shoto then went off to find other team mates. I didn't bother to join him, I trusted his decisions.

"H-hey y/n!" Midoriya's voice snapped me out of my thoughts, my head turned to his direction to see him and Uraraka looking at me excitedly. "Are you okay? Your pupils looked weird and you were staring distantly... almost like a bird-" "I'm fine!" I cut Midoriya off with a smile.

"Oh. Well, we came here to ask you to join us! If you want to of course! Heh..." Uraraka laughed nervously. I smiled awkwardly and shook my head. "Sorry guys, you're about 2 and a half minutes late. I teamed up with Todoroki." I explained, they looked disappointed, but they gave me an understanding smile and went off to find someone else.

Shoto came back after a few minutes with Kaminari and Yaomomo trailing behind him, I raised my eyebrows in surprise "Interesting choices..." I whispered to Shoto and he nodded. I smiled at Yaomomo and she smiled back. "Yo Takami!" Greeted Kaminari raising his hand up to give me a fist bump, I returned his fist bump with a grin. "Hey Kaminari!" "Oh just call me Denki, you're cool."

"Time's up everyone! Now then, it's about time we get started!" Sighed Midnight, we all got into possessions with me at the front as the main source of mobility and physical defence, Denki as the left wing to keep the enemy away with his electricity, Yaomomo at the right wing to assist with defence and movement and Shoto will be the one getting carried and creating diversions with his ice.

"THREE! TWO! ONE! START!" Midnight announced. As soon as the words left her mouth the teams started attacking Midoriya, we backed off and waited for a moment to corner them. "Over there!" Shouted Shoto and pointed in the direction of Midoriya and his team. We cornered the green haired boy and his team. "I'll be taking that now.." Growled Shoto.

Since Yaoyorozu made roller skates for her and Denki, pushing forward using my wings for extra force was easy, as we charged towards Midoriya's team Yaomomo took out a cover and covered herself, Shoto and I. Denki then released his quirk and electrocuted all the teams in the vicinity.

"Shoto! Ice!" I growled under my breath signaling for Shoto to use his quirk. Shoto nodded and before the other teams could recover from Denki's shock wave, Shoto's ice froze them to the ground.  We ran forwards to attack Midoriya and his team, and Shoto took the opportunity to snatch a few headbands from the frozen teams.

Shoto's eyes widened as dark shadow surged forwards to attack us. "y/n!" He warned, I unfolded my wings. They turned into their metal form and I used them as a wall to block dark shadow. Dark shadow slammed against my wings and retracted when the light reflected off my wings and into his eyes.

Shoto's ice surrounded Midoriya's team and I spread my wings again. "Alright everyone, I want you to hang on tight. Shoto, make sure to catch the head band." I commanded, I felt Yaomomo and Denki grip onto me a little tighter.

I started running towards Midoriya and used my wings to push us all forward at a high speed, Denki gripped me tighter and whimpered at the speed.

We reached Midoriya's team and Shoto got hold of Midoriya's head band, ripping it off of his head. When I stopped my team looked shocked and shaken up, "W-what was that...?" Shoto questioned, still shaken up. "I used the force of my wings to push us forward, pretty easy thanks to Yaomomo's roller skates." I shrugged, Denki looked at me with a shocked look. "That was so fast... I barely even noticed it..." He whimpered.

I rolled my eyes. "That's my normal flight speed, if you think that's fast then god help you if you have to witness my quick dives..." I chuckled. Midoriya's team launched at us and Midoriya's arm shot towards Shoto forcing him to use his fire, Midoriya then snatched the top head band from Shoto.

Midoriya's happiness was short-lived as he realized that he took the wrong head band. Yaomomo then explained how we replaced the head band and Midoriya looked shocked.

Shoto was still frozen above me, I knew how much he hated using his fire. I squeezed his right hand in an attempt to comfort him. "You're doing great Shoto, you can do it.." I whispered to him.

Not long after Midoriya and Bakugou's team both started to run towards us, Yaomomo produced a staff for Shoto to use as a spear and I used my wings as a shield. But the teams were too late as Present mic announced 'times up!'. Bakugou fell to the ground mid jump and Midoriya's team froze in their tracks.

"That's the end of the second round, the cavalry battle!" Present mic exclaimed excitedly. "Now let's take a look at the top four teams right away!" Our team was in first place, Bakugou in second, the purple haired boy from general studies (Shinsou I think) in third and, surprisingly, Midoriya's team in fourth.

I walked over to Shoto, he was standing far away from the team looking down. "Shoto." He looked up at me with a shameful look. "Look, I'm sorry y/n. I shouldn't have-" "Shoto what are you talking about? You did great, I just wanted to see how you were doing. I know you don't like using your fire." I gave him a concerned look. "Thank you.. for caring.. But It's not my fire, it's his." He stated. I raised my eyebrows.

"No it's not. It's your quirk Shoto." I smiled, he looked up at me with a confused look "What do you mean-"

"Time for a one hour break!" interrupted Present mic. I left before Shoto could ask another question and headed inside. I needed to find Keigo.

I walked around looking for him, but Bakugou's leaning figure stopped me in my tracks. He was listening to a conversation between what sounded like Midoriya and Shoto.

His eyes met mine and he motioned for me to stay silent. I nodded and joined Bakugou to listen into the conversation. Shoto was telling Midoriya about his scar and how he wanted to surpass All Might, he then walked off and left Midoriya alone. The atmosphere around Midoriya and Shoto was visibly tense during the whole conversation.

I gave Bakugou a glance, he looked very concentrated. After the conversation between Shoto and Midoriya was done, Bakugou and I both walked off without another word.

"There you are!" I heard Keigo say from around the corner, I grinned and walked over to him. "You were amazing! I'm so proud of you kid!" He smiled as he patted my head. "Thanks," I smiled. "Here, eat something" He said while handing me a sandwich. I gladly accepted the sandwich and started munching on it. "Have you eaten yet?" I asked with a mouthful of sandwich, he nodded. I finished eating and waved Keigo off to start getting ready for the next match.

When I walked back I saw all the other 1-A girls in cheer outfits, I gave them all questioning looks. "What the hell is going on here...?" I asked Jirou, "Why do I always get caught up in Mineta's tricks..." Wined Yaomomo next to me.

Jirou then explained how Mineta tricked the girls into wearing cheering outfits during lunch by saying that it was mandatory for all girls to wear them. I stood up without a word and walked off. "y/n? Where are you going?" Jirou asked, I gave her a kind smile "I'm going to look for Mineta" "Why?" I gave her a reassuring smile "Nothing too serious, just a chat"

And with that I walked off to look for him. I found him not too far away ogling the girls, I walked up behind him and squeezed his shoulder.

The little pervert jumped at the feeling of me squeezing the life out of his shoulder and turned around slowly to look me in the eye "T-Takami...?" He whimpered, I gave him a murderous glare.

"We need to talk. Now."
