59. 𝘉𝘐𝘎 𝘉𝘐𝘙𝘋, 𝘉𝘈𝘉𝘠 𝘉𝘐𝘙𝘋 & 5 𝘞𝘌𝘌𝘕𝘐𝘌𝘚

ONE DAY BEFORE THE SCHOOL FESTIVAL

It's been a few weeks since the exam, and I have recovered completely from all of my physical injuries. Although I couldn't really say the same about the shock that I went through after the whole assassin thing. Lately I've been having nightmares about more deaths that I've caused, It's much more than I thought.. I spend most of my evenings researching 'unsolved' death cases, trying to piece things together and see if they were labeled unsolved to hide something.

Fortunately, I've been able to take this off of my mind for a little bit because of the school festival. I was on the staging team along with Shoto, Sero, Kirishima, Aoyama and Koda. My job is going to be easy, with the help of Shoto and Aoyama, the three of us would use ice and metal feathers to light up the stage and add some 'dazzling' special effects. After that, I was going to participate in the beauty pageant since the girls wouldn't stop begging me to.

I received a letter a few days ago, from Toji, updating me on his situation.

Hi Falcon! I'm telling my aunt what to write since my writing is not that good yet, but I'm getting better! The police gave me to auntie after I got out of the hospital, and she's taking care of me! She's very nice, like you, and believes that I can also be a hero. I've also been practicing with my wings! I can't really fly like you just yet, but I can stay afloat for a few seconds. My record is 23 seconds!

Auntie said that I'll be able to visit you soon at your school. She said that you invited me to some sort of festival, and that it would be fun. I can't wait to see you again and show you how much I've improved! I miss you, see you soon!

The drawing was hung next to the posters on my wall, and it was a cute little drawing of the two of us flying together. I was in my hero suit while he was in what I presume is the hero suit that he designed for himself. Keigo and I have barely been able to see each other in person, we've both been too busy to do so. When we text it's usually to check up on each other, so I haven't had the chance to speak to him about the assassin project.

"Yo bird bitch!" Bakugou yelled through the door, snapping me out of my thoughts. I groaned, getting up to answer his furious knocks. "What?! What do you want?! If it's about that romance novel that I borrowed from you, I told you I'd return it soon-" "SHHH! Shut up! It's not about that! Don't mention that! There's a brat downstairs waiting for you with Aizawa and a weird lady." Brat..? "Oh. 'Kay, I'll be down in a second."

When I got downstairs, I saw my classmates surrounding Toji while a lady, who I presumed was his aunt, Miss Sakaki, was frantically muttering something to Aizawa. "Hey, what's up?" I greeted. Toji jumped away from the crowd that was fawning over his cuteness and ran to me, his arms open. I grinned, picking him up and spinning him around. "There's my little protege!" I said, making him laugh.

"I am so sorry Miss Takami! We read the invitation wrong and came one day early!" Miss Sakaki wailed. I waved my arms dismissively. "It's fine! It's fine! You don't have to worry, Toji can stay with me and I'll take care of him. Right Mr. Aizawa?" Mr. Aizawa looked like a deer in the headlights. Clearing his throat, he nodded. "Yes, I'm sure that he'll be in safe hands with Takami. You can go home and rest easy ma'am."

The lady nodded. "Thank you so much! For every thing!" She mumbled, hugging me. I gulped, hugging her back awkwardly. She hugged Toji as well before walking away with Aizawa, leaving me with Toji while my classmates stared at us, observing the whole situation. "So this is the kid that you saved? He's adorable!" Mina said, breaking the silence.

"Yeah! He wouldn't stop talking about how cool you were, did you really stop Overhaul's bullets by shooting another bullet at it to make it ricochet?" Kirishima asked. "Yeah-" "And it was awesome!" Toji interrupted. I smiled, ruffling his white hair. "Ugh. Why is the little brat still here?" We turned around to see Bakugou leaning one the door frame. "Who are you calling brat?" Toji and I asked at the same time.
