74. 𝘊𝘏𝘙𝘐𝘚𝘛𝘔𝘈𝘚 𝘚𝘗𝘌𝘊𝘐𝘈𝘓

It's Christmas at U.A., and y/n is fucking ecstatic. She's never experienced a real Christmas, and this was her chance to do it. She put all my troubles aside, not caring about anything or anyone. Hidou? Don't know her. Dabi? Is that some type of band? The girls had promised to show her everything that is traditionally done during Christmas, activities, meals and everything in between.

Given the holiday, everyone had slept in. They didn't get breaks often these days and they took advantage of every single second. So when y/n woke up, it was already 11AM. A soft gasp left her lips when she got up. There were presents under the small tree that Shoto had helped her set up and decorate earlier this week. "No way.." She smiled, kneeling next to the gifts. "Are you seeing this?" She asked Kei, who had flown over to the tiny tree and perched himself on a branch.

He squawked, ushering her to open them. Her face lit up when she saw two cards with drawings of birds on them, one from Toji, the other from Eri. She hung them up next to the rest of Toji's drawings and letters. Next present she unwrapped was from her brother; a signed Miruko poster, a letter and a feather brush. She fumbled with the letter, trying to pry it open and contain her enthusiasm.

Merry Christmas kid!

Sorry I couldn't spend Christmas with you this year, work is packed. But I trust that you'll have plenty of fun with your friends. I got Rumi to sign you a poster since you're such a big fan (And a nerd). The brush is for my replacement, maybe he won't resent me as much now.

Make sure to stay safe and be careful. And never meet up with them without me there.

Sorry for missing Christmas again.

'Too late for that.' She thought, remembering last week's events. "This one's for you." y/n mumbled, setting the brush next to Kei's nest and hanging the poster up with the other posters. Her laughter echoed through the room when she saw Bakugou's gift. Another cactus, which she set down next to the old cactus that he got her in the hospital.

There was another card wishing her a merry christmas, from Misao, the redhead from the exams. Along with a coffee mug from Aizawa, which had a little cat on it. 'Wow... I've never gotten this many gifts before..' She smiled to herself. y/n squinted, picking up a dagger with a retractable blade and the note attached to it.

Every villain needs one.

'Huh... the league got me a gift..?' She was quite confused, she didn't expect villains to be so... welcoming. They sure treated her as a human and not an asset, unlike the commission. The thought of these villains, the ones she was bound to betray, being nice to her was too disturbing. She got up and stashed the dagger in her drawers, then she burned the note using a lit scented candle.

While she was doing it, she noticed a glistening ball under the tree. Confused, she picked up the ball. It was a snow globe, inside was an intricately carved falcon. 'Who sent this...?' She flipped the globe, eyeing the commissions symbol etched onto the stone along with Director Hidou's initials. So much for forgetting all about Dabi and Hidou huh.

y/n gritted her teeth. She stood up and walked off to the stairs, taking the snow globe with her. It seemed like everyone was awake and chatting in the kitchen by now, so she snuck out from the back exit and walked out into the forest. She didn't take a jacket with her but she wrapped her wings around herself. It was quite cold, no snow though.
