45. 𝘋𝘖𝘕 '𝘛 𝘋𝘖 𝘋𝘙𝘜𝘎𝘚 𝘒𝘐𝘋𝘚

Y/N, AGE 14, BEFORE U.A.

The door to my room opened up and in entered a tall muscular guard. "Takami, Director Hidou needs you." He stated, I looked up at him mid push up and sighed. I can't have peace for one single day now can I?

"What does she want?" I asked, wiping off the sweat from my workout with a towel. "That is disclosed information, she did tell me to give you this though. Put it on, I'll be waiting outside." He said and he threw an all-black stealth suit on my bed. "I can escort myself y'know.." I mumbled.

"You know the rules better than anyone Takami." He firmly said before closing the door and leaving me to change. A long dragged out sigh escaped my lips as he got out of my room. If you could even call it a room, it's more like a glorified prison cell.

I put away all my training equipment and washed my face. My eyebrows furrowed when I touched the stealth suit, I've never seen a suit like this before let alone worn one... The suit fit perfectly when I put it on, as if it was designed to fit every single inch of my body.

"Finally. Took you long enough, let's go." The guard grumbled when I exited the room with the suit on. God what an asshole... We walked side by side through the base, the halls were filled with people, I haven't seen so many people in the base ever since- well, never.

The guard led me to one of the big meeting rooms where I was met with Hidou and a blond haired woman who I recognized as the president of the commission. I lowered my gaze and stared at the ground, too nervous to glance at anyone in this room. The atmosphere was terrifying, the fact that these people were so powerful that they could kill me with one single order never failed to send shivers down my spine.

"There she is! How do you like the suit, young lady? It was specially designed for you in America! But it's not complete yet, there are a few accessories left.." Hidou said as she laid out a mask, goggles and two devices that resembled ankle cuffs.

Hidou took the cuff and put one on each wing, right at the base. She pressed a button on her remote that activated the cuffs, upon activation the cuffs released some weird material that covered my wings and made them black. I recognised the material to be the same one that the suit was made of.

"What is this..?" I muttered. "It's nanotech. The suit is bullet proof and so is the wing device." Hidou explained as she handed me the new bullet proof mask and goggles and told me to put them on. I wonder what the mission is supposed to be about for me to be covered head to toe in bullet proof gear...

"You must be wondering why you're here, right Takami?" The president spoke up, making me tense up. My eyes eventually made contact with hers after I mustered up the courage to look up from the ground. I nodded nervously and gulped. "Yes ma'am." I answered truthfully, making her smile.

"We are sending you on a mission. Your brother is currently unfit for this mission, so we need someone more fit for it. That's why we chose you." She began. "We've been hearing a lot about a drug going around that amplifies peoples quirks. Our sources reported a big meeting where large amounts of the drug will be sold, we want you to lead the police force to the site and bust them. Understood?"

A drug bust? That's what's so important that they assign one of their best soldiers? "Yes ma'am." I replied, my voice slightly muffled by the mask. "More information will be given to you on the way. You're dismissed." I bowed to the president before leaving the room, a sigh of relief that I've been holding in escaped my lips and I leaned against the wall.

"C'mon let's go. The police force is waiting for you, here are your weapons." The guard that brought me to the meeting room said, he held a tray full of weapons. On the tray was a switchblade, two hand guns and extra bullets. I armed myself and we left, on the way one of the head police officer started explaining the plan in detail.
