24. 𝘠𝘈𝘖𝘔𝘖𝘔𝘖 𝘚𝘜𝘗𝘗𝘖𝘙𝘛 𝘚𝘘𝘜𝘈𝘋𝘙𝘖𝘕

"You may start." Aizawa ordered, I cracked my knuckles and looked at my exam paper. It's finally time for the exams, and most of the class was nervous as hell. I looked down at my paper and smiled, this was as easy, if not easier, than the midterms.

I finished quickly and handed the test to Aizawa, he told me to suit up and wait outside for the rest to finish. I nodded and hurried to the changing room. As I put on my suit I wondered what the practical test would be like, I heard a rumour going around that we'd be fighting those robots from the festival again.

I went outside and sniffed the fresh air. I ruffled my feathers and decided to warm up a little until the rest of the class showed up. I glide through the cold air without any effort, it's like free therapy. I flew up to the clouds and touched them, my hand getting slightly wet.

I smiled and closed my eyes as I let myself go limp, falling down head-first into the ground. I could hear a loud gasp when I spread my wings right as I was about to hit the ground. I landed and looked around for the person who gasped, it was Shoto.

"Oh hey! You scared me there.." I chuckled as I took off my goggles, he stared at me, eye wide and mouth open. "I scared you?! I thought you were gonna die!!" He croaked with his hand over his heart. I started laughing at his shocked face.

"I didn't mean to scare you like that, sorry Shoto." I apologized. He shook his head, "It's fine, I'm just not used to your quirk yet..." He sighed. The rest of the class arrived one by one wearing their hero suits, shortly after Aizawa arrived with a bunch of teachers behind him.

"Now, we will begin the practical exam." Aizawa announced. "Of course it's possible for you to fail this exam, and if you want to go to the training camp then don't do something stupid." Aizawa then asked us what we think the exam will be, there were various answers like 'fighting robots' and 'courage testing'.

"For various reasons, the exam will be a little different this year!" A little voice said from Aizawa's scarf, principal Nezu popped out. "Yes! This year, we'll have you form teams of two to fight against one teacher!" The whole class froze. The teachers?! This is either going to be fun or a disaster.

"In addition to that, the pairs and who each pair will be up against have already been decided! There will be a team of three though since you're 21 students.." He explained with an evil smirk on his little face.

"Alright then, on to the teams! The first team with three people is Yaoyorozu, Takami and Todoroki," He stated, Aizawa then grinned. "And they'll be facing me..." He confirmed, I gulped. He's a tough opponent.

I stopped listening after that and started thinking up a strategy. According to the list our match would be the fourth one of the day, so we have a little time to plan our strategy. A good idea would be to have Yaomomo create small objects constantly so we can notice when Aizawa is around, I can also send a feather to try and sniff him out-

"y/n! Hellooo!" Yaomomo waved her hand in front of me, snapping me out of my thinking process. "Huh? What's wrong?" I asked while frantically looking around. "Are you okay? You were staring for five minutes straight at nothing.." She smiled, I blinked a few times.

"Right, sorry. That happens often, I was just thinking about a plan that's all." I explained, she nodded. We watched the matches from the control room and it was finally time for us to fight. I wiped my goggles with a cloth and put them on.

We entered the area and I pulled Yaomomo and Shoto to the side, I told them about the plan I thought of and they agreed to use it. "Can't you fly around and look for him too?" Shoto asked, I shook my head. "I still don't know exactly what would happen if he uses his quirk on me, so I don't want to risk falling 20 meters down and breaking something." I explained, Shoto nodded in understanding.
