"Good morning darling..." Shoto yawned while running his hands through my feathers. "Mornin'" I muttered with a little smile on my face. "Y/n, why are you so hot?" Shoto suddenly asked after a few minutes of comfortable silence, I pried myself away from his grip and gave him a surprised look. "Shoto- What?" Shoto blinked innocently at my question.

"You're temperature, its sizzling. Are you sure you don't have a fever?" He mumbled and ran his fingers through his hair as he began to get out of bed. I squeezed the bridge of my nose and chuckled lightly, this asshole is so oblivious... I offered to brush Shoto's hair and he nodded, we sat quietly on my bed as I brushed out the red side of his hair.

"So did you have any pleasant dreams?" He asked, breaking the silence. I shrugged. "I didn't dream after you helped, but I guess it's better not to dream than have nightmares. Did you have any?" Shoto nodded and started telling me about his dream.

According to Shoto's dream, I was a princess in a kingdom far away, and he was a prince coming to visit my castle to ask me to be his alley. He told me how he snuck into my royal chambers and how we danced together under the moonlight. "Are you serious? You dreamt that Bakugou was my maid?" I laughed as I finished up his hair.

"Look- it was a weird dream okay?" He sighed, a smile on his face after he checked his reflection in the mirror. I noticed his eyes flicker to the crack that I made yesterday on the mirror but he didn't say anything about it. "Just you wait till Bakugou hears about this.." I grinned and jumped off my bed.

"Wh-what? No, don't tell him, he'll try to kill me!" Shoto begged as he chased me around the room in an attempt to keep me from going outside. He ended up having to tackle me on the bed and tickle me to death. "Okay! Okay! I won't tell him, but only if you make me breakfast!" I huffed after two solid minutes of tickling. Shoto accepted the deal and got off of me to go back to his room so that he could put on his uniform and get started on my breakfast.

I smiled, my eyes following him while he exited the room. He knew just how to calm me down. After I buttoned my uniform blouse I glanced at the crack in the mirror. I should fix that soon... I know I shouldn't let Hidou get to me so easily any more, I've learned my lesson long ago, but her words keep replaying in my head. She always treats me like an asset, a weapon, and every time I fight I become more and more like the person she wants me to become.

Sometimes I think I should accept it and give in, that she was right all along and that I am a natural born murderer. But even if I was, I would never give her the satisfaction of knowing that she was right. I'm gonna use my strength and instincts to help people in my own way. I'll help people like a hero, not an assassin.

Shoto was already downstairs when I was done so I went downstairs alone. The class was hanging out in the common room, either talking with each other or eating some breakfast before class. It was relatively quiet and calm. "Here you go.." Shoto smiled before he handed me a bowl of seeds with a side of fruit, I thanked him and we sat and ate together on the couch.

"Yo birdie! Guess what I just saw!" Chimed Denki as he hopped down on the couch next to me. "Whats up?" I asked. "You're on a news article!" He beamed as he handed me his phone so that I could see. Shoto leaned on my shoulder to read the article and smiled as he saw the title. The article was a list of 'Most anticipated future heroes!', on the cover was a picture of me and a bunch of young looking sidekicks and students that I wasn't familiar with.

"And look! You're number one on the list!" Denki giggled as he pointed at my section. Kirishima walked up behind me and leaned over my other shoulder to see what the ruckus was about. "What's going on here?" He muttered. "Y/n is on the official japan hero website's main page!" Denki jumped excitedly as he frantically pointed at the phone.
