"Apologies"

Whispering sounds where all that filled the air. My gloomy lover waited for me. I hoped, while I stood in a store filled with whispers, snickers and confusion. I had been standing in the same position for fifteen minutes and I still didn’t know what it was I looking for, people stood next to me and left with smirks and happy faces while I remained in contemplation.
“Are you sure you don’t need help?” the sales person asked, she was wearing a black latex suit that had kitten ears and a collar that made her seem like she was owned by someone.

“I am still contemplating” I said

“You know I can make your life easier if you let me” she giggled

“I know that” I smiled and continued with my venture

“Are you always this cold and distant to all human beings?” she asked softly

“I am not cold but I do have a hard time connecting with people” I confessed

“Me too, people always think I am weird and I am certain that is what you thought when you walked in here” she chuckled

“No” I said

“But you were staring” she poked

“I was scanning for a name tag just in case I needed some assistance” I said

“Oh... I am so sorry for misinterpreting your intentions” she smiled

“It is okay and you don’t seem weird at all” I added

“That is a first unless if you are into what I am into” she raised as eyebrow

“I don’t know what you mean” I said honestly

“Oh, that is okay but please let me help you”

“Okay”

“Tell me about your lover, is it a woman or a man?” she asked

“A woman... do women buy these for their men?” I curiously asked

“Yes, it is more common than you think” she chuckled

“That is interesting” I said

“So how long have you been with this woman?” she asked

“It has been for few months”

“Oh and have you communicated about this?”

“No, I want to surprise her even though she made me feel bad for surprising her today”

“So you don’t learn?” she chuckled

“I do but in this case I am trying to eliminate the anger”

“Oh I see and how old is this woman?”

“Oh I am almost half her age” I smiled

“That is interesting so I am going to suggest a basic strap on, it is easy to use and both of you can use it” she suggested

“Will it not be a time waster when we are both heated and in the moment?”

“As long as you know how to strap it on then you are good to go but you always have to be careful when inserting it because some people think it is in but it is not” she joked

“Okay I like it but I need to hear more”

“Sure, that one is a vibrator and overall it is amazing to use until it dies while you are using it”

“Is there anything that works perfectly?”

“Nope but they work better than men” she joked
“Okay how about that rhino horn looking one?”
