Yedam was already annoyed. He had ten projects due in the next three days he had only finished three on them. So to hear Junkyu bitching under his breath while in the library made him snap. "Will you just shut the fuck up, Kyu?! If you have something to say just fucking say it!" His outburst lead him and Junkyu to be suspended from the library for the next two weeks.

The two walked down the pavement towards the boys' dorms, hoping there would be some space there to work as Junkyu finally brought up the topic that had been bothering him the entire week.

"I fucked someone after the party," Junkyu confessed. Yedam's paused his steps, which Junkyu stopped too. The younger slowly turned his head to look at the other, an unreadable expression contorted on his face. "It was a guy, a first year. Ilhoon was his name."

"So what, you like the guy?" Yedam asked, hoping he didn't sound off as he continued his strides towards the dorms. The building was in sight, looking as nice as always. Junkyu scoffed at Yedam's question.

"I may be bi, but that doesn't mean I like every guy or girl," Junkyu told him. "I ran out as soon as I processed it. I was just thankful I wasn't the one who took it."

"God, Kyu, I didn't ask for that," Yedam complained, scrunching his nose up in disgust. Junkyu shrugged nonchalantly.

"Well if I was the one who took it, I wouldn't be able to run," he reasoned. "And plus," Junkyu's voice was quiet, his eyes glued to his feet. Yedam quirked a brow at the sudden change of behavior. "I listened to your advice, you know...about letting her-him go. I think that's why I impulsively just...did it. Well that and I was drunk and drunk me was really into this guy."

"Not sober you?" Yedam asked, praying he didn't sound too hopeful as he felt his stomach whirl. Junkyu shook his head.

"Nope. I actually ran into him earlier today, we have the same major, apparently. He works at that one studio we went to, back for the auditions for Haneul?" Yedam nodded his head at Junkyu's words, letting him know that he knew what he was talking about. "Yeah, he works there. He apologized about that night."

"Then why were you bitching earlier?" Yedam questioned. He couldn't help but feel curious. He was just thankful that Junkyu didn't question him either.

"Well, after he apologized he-" Junkyu unzipped his jacket to show a large, ugly splotch of coffee on his white shirt, the fabric still pressed tightly against his skin. Yedam sucked in a deep breath. "-spilled a bunch of coffee on me. He apologized again but it felt so intentional since, you know, I'm wearing white and we were just talking about that night and all."

"So in conclusion?"

"In conclusion, I hate this guys' guts," Junkyu finished. Yedam chuckled at Junkyu's conclusion, the two finally reaching the dorms. Upon entering, the space was completely filled with loud, rowdy boys. They definitely couldn't study like this.

"Hey, Minhyuk!" Junkyu called over one of his roommates, the said boy approaching the two soon after. "Is the room empty?"

"Yeah, Kibum went on that date with that first year and Jimin is modeling for the art club again. The room is all yours." Kibum sent the two a wink before walking back to his group of friends, not staying long enough to laugh at their flushed, red faces.

"I think I'll find another place to study," Yedam muttered and much to his disappointment, Junkyu agreed. They separated ways and Yedam was back outside and under the sun, thinking of a place to study.

The two were usually mistaken as a couple and were always being teased about it, but it never really bothered Junkyu, so why was he bothered now? Some part of Yedam hoped it was because Junkyu was developing feelings for him, but another part of him knew it was because of the night at the party - whether that meant sleeping with that first year or letting Insoo go.

After wandering around enough, Yedam came across a nice, cozy cafe. The cafe was called 'Regulus' and was not too far from the campus, but it wasn't exactly that close either. The cafe also seemed to be a bookshop considering the amount of books that lined the walls. The whole cafe was dark and cozy, the warm aroma of coffee filling his lungs as he stepped in.

Yedam, deciding it was a good place to study considering the lack of costumers, set down his bags and books on a desk near the window before approaching the counter. Behind the nicely decorated counter was empty, so Yedam tapped on the small bell in front of him. A few seconds later, someone popped out from behind the back room.

"Sorry for the wait-" the girl stopped in her place, staring at him with wide eyes like a deer caught in headlights. She was the same girl he saw at the birthday party, the girl who looked like-

"Insoo?" Yedam asked before he could stop himself. He eyed her, thinking she could be Insoo, but they clearly weren't a boy, because their rack said otherwise. Yedam then stopped that train of thought. Maybe Insoo was trans?

The girl cleared her throat, pulling Yedam out of his deep thought. "I'm...Iris. What would you like?" She awkwardly moved to the back of the counter and stood in front of him, avoiding his eyes.

"Huh? Oh," Yedam quickly looked at the menu and picked the first thing he saw. "A chai latte, small."

"Okay," she murmured, putting the order down. "Anything to eat?"

"Er...a blueberry tart?" The girl who looked like Insoo...Iris quickly told him the amount.

"Okay, take a seat. I'll bring you your order," she told him. Then, without wasting a second, she scurried to the back room again. Yedam stood, dumbfounded, and stared at where she had left to. Was he just catching Junkyu's paranoia?
