"Thank you Manchester, we've been blur and you've been fucking brilliant" I shouted down my microphone, before blowing the crowd a few kisses.

"God bless, get home safely" Damon shouted, I walked across the stage so I was next to him, letting him place his arm around my shoulders before walking off the stage together.

It was the first night of our Great Escape tour and the crowd were insane, something had definitely changed since we'd released parklife. Though, as much as I had enjoyed myself I was still on edge all evening, Liam had come to watch the show and it was the first time he'd ever seen us perform live, so I had to make sure I put on a good show.

Coming off of the stage I saw Liam stood with his back against the wall, a cigarette hanging from his lips and a bottle of beer in his hand. I broke away from Damon once I saw him, almost running over to him with a smile on my face.

"What did you think?" I asked him quietly as I pulled away from our kiss, he took a long drag from his cigarette before giving me a smile.

"You're fucking class" He told me, before leaning forward and placing another kiss onto my lips. I couldn't help but breathe a sigh of relief, I would never admit it but Liam's approval meant a lot to me, especially as he is someone who takes to the stage so naturally.

"I mean, the fucking jumping is a bit too much for me" He told me as we started walking towards the dressing room "But it made your tits look fucking brilliant, so I can't complain too much"

"Charming" I laughed, as I pushed the door open and walked into the smoke filled and alcohol tinged room.

The boys all knew Liam was here, I mean he'd joined us for a few drinks before the show, but I still couldn't help but feel on edge that something bad was going to happen. I wasn't worried about the other boys, but Damon made me feel on edge, I felt like he was just waiting to kick off at Liam. Everything had gone worryingly smoothly so far.

"You got the fucking words round the wrong way in parklife again" Damon shouted at me as I walked in, his laughter breaking through his words.

"Alex keeps on distracting me" I told him with a shrug of my shoulders as I walked over to the runner to grab a bottle of beer for Liam and a bottle of champagne for myself.

"Fuck off!" Alex shouted at me from across the room "if anyone was distracting you is was Liam! I've never seen you looking to the side so much"

"Fucking twat" I mumbled under my breath, passing Liam his beer before taking a seat next to him.

"You can't blame her, have you seen how fucking good looking I am?" Liam announced with a smug grin, I hit his arm and rolled my eyes.

"Oh yeah, I mean I definitely would" Graham told him, before taking a swig from his wine bottle, bringing his knees up to his chest and collapsing into a fit of giggles.

"What time are you leaving?" Liam asked me quietly, drawing me out of the conversation between Dave and Graham I was intently listening to.

"I'm not sure" I told him with a shrug of my shoulders "We've got to be in Ireland for tomorrow, I think we're getting a fucking ferry in the morning"

"Come home with me then" He responded quickly, I looked up at him and frowned, raising an eyebrow questionably.

"I can't Liam, it'll be too rushed and I cannot miss that ferry" I told him with a sigh, though I was slightly relieved, I'm not sure I was ready to meet the rest of his family yet.

"You can get a flight in the morning, you'll be there in time" He pleaded with me, I shook my head again.

"No Liam, I can't risk being late, they'll kill me" I told him as I let out a breath I didn't realise I was holding.

"Please Eliza, I really want you to meet me mam" He sighed and I took hold of his hand, giving it a gentle squeeze.

"Liam, I want to meet your mum properly, not when I'm fucked after a show and certainly not at" I paused to look up at the clock "at 11.30 at night" I told him gently, it was a bit of a lie, I mean I didn't particularly want to meet his family full stop. That then made everything seem far more serious and I wasn't sure if I was ready for that.

I leaned forward and placed a kiss onto his lips, before pulling away and whispering into his ear "besides, we've got a hotel room to make the most of tonight".

"Lyla" I heard Damon shout, drawing my attention from Liam and over to him "Have you got a line?" He asked once I was looking at him, I smiled but shook my head as I did so.

"'fraid not" I told him with a shrug of my shoulders, before leaning into Liam's side. We were all due to go out, but I'm not sure I wanted to, I was quite enjoying how relaxed I was currently feeling.

"Here" I heard Liam say, as I looked up to see him holding up a little bag of white powder.

"Cheers mate" Damon said to him with a smile, taking the bag from his outstretched hand "Do you want one?" He asked as he walked over coffee table, before tipping the contents out.

"Course I fucking do" He told him with a laugh, one which Damon shared. I smiled at them both, it meant a lot that my best friend and my boyfriend were getting on so well, especially when they were sworn enemies in the media.

I watched as Liam walked over to the coffee table, kneeling next to Damon before dipping his head and snorting his line. I quickly grabbed my camera and took a photo of them both, they may not appreciate it but it was one of those moments that just had to be captured.

"Are we going out then?" Alex asked, before placing his now empty champagne bottle on the floor.

"I don't want to" I mumbled with a frown, taking a drink from my bottle.

"Don't be boring Lyla" Graham whined at me, throwing a pillow at me. I winced as it hit me, before picking it up and throwing it back at him.

"Liam's got to show us the best places to drink" Alex said enthusiastically, before looking across to Liam to gauge his reaction.

"Can do" He replied with a shrug of his shoulders "Though I'm not sure you softies are up to a northern night out"

"Fuck off" Damon exclaimed accusingly "I can drink you under the fucking table"

"Damon" I warned with a raise of my eyebrow. They were both far too similar in their competitiveness and the last thing I needed was them drinking each other to their deaths.

"Dream on Albarn" Liam sneered, before announcing that we were all going on a pub crawl of the best boozers Manchester had to offer and he was apparently going to prove that Northerners could drink and still be standing far longer than Southerners could.

I reluctantly agreed, though all I really wanted was to crawl into my bed and sleep the evening away. I knew I didn't really have much choice though, someone had to try and keep the peace between Damon and Liam and unfortunately, that role fell into my hands.
