NATHAN

"I DON'T WANT HIM NEAR YOU OR MY PEOPLE, NOT AGAIN." he shout at me.

E- Not again?

N- Please, don't..

E- What has he done to you?

N- Eva, don't..

E- Don't what?

N- Don't ask. Please. I want to forget. I must forget. Please don't ask.

E- Forget what?

I didn't answer.

I looked at my hands and turned my head to the opposite side.

"Okay, let's go to bed.." she said and took my hand gently.

I lay down on the bed and she leaned on me with the one hand resting gently on my chest.

I won't let Dax touch her. I won't let it happen. I promise that to myself.

"Nathan..?" she asked.

N- What is it, love?

E- I'm sorry..

N- Sorry? About what?

E- I didn't mean to upset you..

N- You're not the one who upsets me, believe me..

E- Aren't you working tomorrow?

N- It's Saturday, love. Who works on Saturday?

"Many people, Todd inlcuding.." she respond and laughed a little.

N- I'm the CEO. I can take a day off whenever I want to, and believe me I have a lot of things to do this Sabbath.

E- Like..?

N- Like, taking you out?

E- Are you serious?

N- Yes, don't you want?

E- Of course I want but you'll have to many things to take care in the weekend..

N- I'll take care of them, plus our date will help me take care of business deal..

Ε- I'm confused..

N- No more talking about business, okay?

E- Okay..

I  gave her a kiss on the forehead and in the next hour she has fallen asleep once again.

It's after midnight. To be precise, 04:30.

Eva was curled up on one side of the bed, hugging her pillow.

For some reason I couldn't sleep. I had a bad feeling that something was going to happen. And, unfortunately, something bad would eventually happen.
