Candle magic is a very simple way to start a spell, or put an intention out there. Whether you're lighting a blue candle in your new home, burning a white candle lighten the mood, or burning a black candle to settle some negative energy. Candle colors have meanings. The flames have meanings as well. When candles are used in spellwork the candle determines the majority of how the spell will go. Below are the color correspondences and the types of flames to their meaning.
Interpreting flames;
A normal burn-spell is working well and normal paced
A large flame-your spell is working very well very fast or with much force
A small flame-if your flame is not quite out but still pressing on it means the spell is working slowly but surely, possibly indicates opposition
A dying flame-if it is drowning in wax the timing is off, this is not a good sign, the energy may not be enough, if the flame drowns something was not right
A swaying flame-if the flame sways back and forth or moves around a lot it means the spell will work in an unintended or unexpected way
A flickering flame-this indicates a spiritual presence, this is a good sign
Snapping or crackling flame-someone is trying to talk to you, or talking about you. The context of the spell determines which
The candle goes out-the spell will not work, you have opposition, if you have done this multiple times it indicates that this has already come to pass
Candle Colors;
White candles-remove negative energy, purification, peace, truth, and light
Black candles-protection, absorbs negativity, repels negativity, works like a psychic shield
Blue candles-meditation, healing, forgiveness, fidelity, clarity, calming, good for working with water, good for mental resolve
Orange candles-joy, energy, education, strength, stimulation
Red candles-passion, energy, love, courage
Yellow candles-manifesting, confidence, clair senses
Green candles-money, luck, fertility, health
Purple candles-spiritual awareness, wisdom, peace, legal justice
Pink candles-self love, harmony, friendship
