"I'll never be that me again"

How life is beautiful...

Today it's my 23rd birthday, and we all guessed...

I'm alone.

And now specifically it sucks, because it's not like I can just head out and go get drunk at a club, fuck a dude and call it shots.

Also maybe smoke some rounds of weed, but no even that I have with me at the moment.

Checking my phone I see it's 00:23. What a coincidence.

I'm also not staying bored out of my mind in this damn bedroom.

So quietly, not to wake up the sleeping beauties at this mansion, I tiptoe to the kitchen where there's a glass round table with whiskey and crystal cups.

I was going to gulp down from the bottle but I'm not at home.

It would be inappropriate to spread my germs all over the others things.

I pour the rich drink on the cup, almost filling it all, and head out to the semi circle balcony.

The sound of crickets singing can be heard, as the light winds flows by me, and I relax seeing the sky all lighted up by stars.

At least that. I can stargaze.

Seating down on the floor, I take a cigarette from my hoodie front pocket, and lit it up with my green lighter, putting my hand in front of the flame for the wind not to blow it away.

Once I take a drag, letting the nicotine slowly relax my muscles, I sigh blowing out the smoke.

I sip on the cup, and nod in approval as it burns down my throat.

It's a good whiskey.

Looking up while taking another drag from my cigarette, I shake my head at my naivety from being a kid.

"Daddy! Can I have all my birthdays like this?"

"Like what sweetie?" My dada grinned down at me, playing with my brown hair in a braid.

"With you, a chocolate cake and juice! Please?" My five year old pleads doing her best impression of puppy eyes.

"I'll promise each birthday of yours will get better, my angel." I squealed happy as my dad, a broad shoulder man with brown hair and green eyes, kissed the top of my head.

He died half year after.

From that day on, hell started to come in pieces.

The poorness, I wasn't able to be a child anymore to help in the house. No more birthdays, but I still had my fairy tells dreams.
