(Soyeon's POV)
It was true. There was nothing we could do. Nothing at all. We can't save them or get them out, or anything. We can only let them decide their own fate. We would never see them again. I had mixed feelings about all of this. Anger, hatred, betrayal, desolation, pity, sadness, stress, embarrassment, the list went on. It was like how I felt when Miyeon left, except double the pain. I almost never sought Soojin for emotional support or comfort, but now I was like a little kid with her older sister. She allowed me to cry on her shoulder as I hugged her tightly. I didn't care what she thought about me acting like this. There were more important matters. We had to tell Yuqi, but we should first deal with our own emotions.
"It's okay. Everything will be all right." Soojin whispered in my ear.
