The Time She Met The Boy

An Invitation

Alex came to in a room filled with bright light.

She glanced sideways tilting her head and saw a face staring at her.

She blinked and the face cleared.

Thomas.

Alex glanced down and saw his warm,firm hand gripping her own.

He coloured but didn't let go.

She tried to sit up but he pushed her down gently.

"Careful," he said "your leg."

Alex looked down and gasped. Her leg was covered in plaster right up to her knee.

She grimaced. "I didn't know it was that bad."

Alex looked around. "Where's Dave?" She asked.

"They didn't know his number. Something about a flaw in the forms."

He brightened "But they said you could go home now!"

Alex moaned. "I've got no ride home! I forgot my key!"

She cursed her stupidity.

Thomas looked up.

"You could come to my house." He said. "I.. I mean.. If you want to."

Alex smiled gratefully.

"I'd love to."

Short chapter but if I put the next bit in it would take AGES to write. So I stopped it here. I actually had to research this! Which if you know me I never do that! I probably still got some details wrong about it though so much fixes would be appreciated!
