He placed her down on a chair in front of a computer.
"I uh thought you might want to watch Youtube? I mean... No it was a stupid idea. You uh-"
Alex shushed him.
"I love youtube."
He grinned.
"Who's your fave Youtuber?"
"Oh Nerd³ definitely."
He fake gasped
"No way! Me too!"
Alex laughed
"You looked at my Facebook didn't you?"
He hung his head. "Yes."
Alex started to laugh uncontrollably.
"Aah I love you."
Thomas snapped his head up.
"I uh I meant your personality!"
Alex cringed
Thankfully he didn't seem to find it odd but his cheeks reddened slightly.
"Soo... What's your fave video?"
"Octodad. Always."
He grinned again.
"Me too."

They watched videos for a while, his mum checking in on them every ten mins.
She obviously doesn't trust me. Alex thought.
She walked fully in this time instead of popping her head around the door -making some excuse.
"We need milk,"
She said
"Thomas. A word."
He shrugged and stood up shooting Alex a 'Don't you dare start the next vid without me' look.
They stood behind the door talking in clear voices.
Alex tried hard not to listen but she couldn't. They were too loud.
"-No funny business."
"Mum! Alex isn't that kind of girl!"
"Who is she anyway? You know what I think about-"
"MUM! STOP IT! I LIKE HER,MUM! WHY CAN'T YOU JUST UNDERSTAND THAT?" Thomas whisper-yelled
The door opened and Thomas strode in but his Mum caught his arm and whispered one quick sentance before letting go (Catch my reference?)
She looked at Alex with a phony smile.
"If you want anything to eat you are welcome to anything in the fridge."
Alex murmered a 'thank you' a little bit overwhelmed.
She closed the door and drove off.
"Sooo... next video?" Thomas asked.
Alex stared at him.
"You... You... You love me?"
Thomas' eyes dropped
"Yes."
