【ｄａｙ　１】

tsukishima pov

I woke up to another boring day to my annoying alarm. Nothing's ever gonna change.

I got up and took a shower. I got dressed in my uniform then headed downstairs to have some breakfast. I just made some eggs, sausage, and toast. I ate that quickly then started my walk to school. I stopped by the convenience store that coach works at where I meet up with Tadashi.

When I got there, I went inside to pick up some snacks for later, specifically a strawberry shortcake and waited for Tadashi. I was in the back part of the store when a girl I had never seen before comes in. She was asking coach for directions to my school. Maybe she was a transfer? She had a weird accent.

"Um... excuse me, sir?" The girl asked.

"Huh? What do you want?" He asks.

"Uh... d-do you think you could g-give me directions t-to Karasuno High?"

"Yeah, whatever. You just go up the hill, make a right, then a left and you should be there."

"T-Thank you, sir."

"Uh-huh."

She was really quiet, and she stuttered a lot. She was probably shy. I wonder who she is.

As she was leaving, she turned around and her h/l h/c hair had flowed with the breeze. The morning sunrise was gracing her face with pinks, oranges, and yellows. She looked like an angel. She was beautiful.

About a minute after the girl leaves Tadashi shows up.

"Hey Tsukki! You okay? You look a little out of it."

"Tch. Shut up, Yamaguchi." I turn my head away from him to hide my slightly pink cheeks.

"Gomen Tsukki."

After I made my walk to the school with Tadashi, I saw the girl again. Then I saw that idiot tangerine run up and crash into her. I had to fight the urge to help her up.

"Oh my gosh! I am so sorry... uh..." Hinata said.

"l/n." The mystery girl replies.

"l/n." He repeats. "I'm Hinata! Hinata Shoyo! Well... I'm sorry again, but I've gotta get to class. Bye l/n!" He says as he runs off into the school.

"Um... bye." She said to herself.

"l/n." I whisper to myself. What a pretty name.

"Huh? What was that Tsukki?" Tadashi asked.

"Tch. I didn't say anything. Shut up Yamaguchi."

"Gomen Tsukki."

I put my headphones on and shuffle all of my songs while heading into the school.

I go to class and sit down. I shut my eyes in an attempt to get a little nap before class starts.

"Quiet everyone!" The class quiet down and the teacher continues. "Today we have a new transfer student from America." Everyone starts talking again, wondering if it was a girl or a boy. He turned his head and waved for the new student to come inside. She slowly walked inside with her head down and everyone went silent. My eyes widened. It's her. She stood next to the teacher and he told her to introduce herself.

"Um... hello. I'm l/n f/n. Please take care of me." She bowed slightly while keeping her head down. Everything felt still. She looked up a little and scanned the room a bit, almost as if she was looking for someone, but ended up looking back down seeming a bit disappointed. I closed my eyes again waiting for her to sit down.

"Uhh... alright then. l/n, please sit next to Tsukishima."

I flinched a little after I heard my name. I opened my eyes and looked at her. She looks just as beautiful as she did at the convenience store. I closed my eyes once again as she walks over to the empty desk next to me. I hear her sit down. I kept my composure.

The next song that came on was Can't Help Falling In Love by Elvis Presley. At that, I couldn't help but smile just the smallest amount.
