Chapter 21~ Weird vibes ~

~Time skip to y/n walking home~

As I was walking home, I felt relaxed knowing everything was going smoothly. It felt like everything was sorted out and under control.

As I reach to open my door with my keys, I see that the door is already unlocked.

Ahhh dang it, she's home already? I close my eyes and huff. Well she was bound to get back sometime. With that I open my eyes and moved forward to get in my house.

"Hello mum?" I made the first call.

"Y/n?" She says as she peaks out of the living room.

"Hell-" I got interrupted by my mum charging at me and given me a..... hug?

A confused look takes over my face.

"Y/n, I'm so glad your good. How is your school work going?" She lets me breathe then looks at me.

"U-um good" I reply still shocked.

"Ahhh that's good, I knew I shouldn't have worried about leaving you alone your so responsible" she says with a smile.

"Thanks?" At this point I don't even know what to respond.

Like really what's going on.
It was silent for a while, no one said anything. It was starting to get a bit awkward.

"Okay I'm going to go to my room" I broke the awkward silence.

"Sure honey, remember to finish your studies then rest" she says chirping as she goes into the living room.

What just happened.

I walked to my room with wide eyes, I'm so confused.

What?!!?!

Since when is my mum so chill about me and my studies she's usually on my case 24/7.

Ahhhhh I'm so confused. I thought as I rub my pillow on my face.

Oh well I'll have to confront her about it later. I don't wanna spoil the good mood.

Then I just had an idea, since she's not on my case right now how bout I text kuroo?

I grab my phone from my desk,

After I send the message I put my phone down and wait for a reply.

I finally hear my phone buzz I stop what I'm doing to grab it.

Kuroo: hey wassupp —5:30

I stare at the message. What took him so long to reply?

I hesitantly reply to him.

Y/n: nothing much you?

I wanted to ask him, but I was just being extra. He's obviously busy I can't expect him to revolve his life around me.

*Ding*

My eyes darted to look at my screen, i don't understand why I feel so exited.

Kuroo: I was at volleyball practice, sorry for the late reply. :)

After reading that message I smile a bit.

Y/n: oh yeah that's fine :) get home safe.

I put down my phone and started internally squealing. Dang I neeed to stop.
