Chapter 40 ~ Special chapter ~

Hey guys👋

It's yo girl, I know I've finished this story but I've decided to write a special chapter, as a little gift😋

I assume yall are having fun over the holidays, lmk what you're doing, even if it's just chilling :)

I hope you will enjoy this chapter, since the ending isn't exactly what you wanted, don't worry I have been seeing all of your comments in the last chapter😭

I was contemplating whether or not to write a special, but since most of you guys wanted more I decided to write it. I personally liked the ending but I understand where the majority of you are coming from 😭😭.

Sadly I do not plan on doing a sequel, hopefully this special satisfies at least some of your needs 😋

~2 years later~

I pulled my curtains back to look outside, the lights were illuminating the streets, whilst the snow acted as a light blanket covering all exposed surfaces.

I let go, letting the curtain call back into place as I sigh.

I'm already dressed, ready to go out.

Me Sakura and ichika are meeting at the shopping centre, we're planning on having a nice night out.

Is out last year year of university and Christmas, so we decided to celebrate on our own.

Which is how it was at the very beginning just the three of us.

Of course we only have until 10:00 because Ichika is going to meet up with Bokuto and Sakura with kenma.

Although Kenma and Sakura haven't officially started dating, I can sense some feelings between them. Though I'd like them to figure that out themselves.

*Ding*

I heard my phone chime which causes me to look down at it, I picked it up and read the message.

Ichika: Have you guys left yet?

Sakura: Yeah I'm on my way to the town centre

Y/n: I've literally just left, it won't take me too long though!!

I reply to their messages with a smile, as I carry on walking whilst giving in my headphones.

As I was listening to my music and walking, I observed my environment. It was brightly lit, most shops had been decorated. Most of them had Christmas trees inside their shops as well.

I would see the expression on strangers' faces. A lot of them on different outings but shared a common feeling; happiness.

I especially envied the couples that were strolling together, because it made me feel alone.

But at the same time I felt happy for them, because the genuinely looked content.

I had a smile on my face throughout the whole journey to the town centre.

I really did feel invested into the Christmas spirit.

~Time skip~

When I arrived I could see the extremely large Christmas tree located at the centre of the shopping district.

It was mildly crowed with people, taking pictures, sitting under it accompanied by either friends or a partner.

All around the area, you could see people walking in and out shops, it was busy.
