Wanda sighed as she turned towards her night stand, groaning at the fact she had woken up at 7:30 in the morning. The sunlight crept through her window, frosted around the edges. Wanda slipped on a pair of socks before making her way to the kitchen, clearly no one else was awake. With a book in hand she moved quietly, pulling a mug out of the cabinet before boiling water for a cup of tea. Wanda sat quietly on the kitchen counter sipping warm tea and reading Alice in Wonderland for the hundredth time.
"Friday, is anyone downstairs yet?" Wanda asked quietly, smiling when Friday replied back in the same tone.
"No, Ms. Maximoff, it appears that the Barton's and Mr. Wilson are all asleep."
"Sam's back?!" Wanda asked having to restrain the excitement in her voice.
"Yes, Mr. Wilson arrived at approximately 11:30 pm last night." Friday replied
"Okay, Thank you, Friday." Wanda said returning her book. Wanda continued to read until she was interrupted by quiet crying. Wanda sat down her book quickly before making her way to the nursery. Luna sat in the middle of her crib, tears pooling in her eyes before they settle on Wanda's form in the door way. The baby immediately makes a grabbing gesture with her hands and Wanda makes her way across the room.
"What's wrong, malysh?" Wanda asks taking the baby into her arms, she feels a small amount of electricity coursing through he babies body. Wanda eyes the abandoned pacifier laying in the crib, holding it out to the baby who plops it back in her mouth. Luna nestles her head onto Wanda's shoulder.
"Just wanted some company, hmm?" She asks shushing and rocking the child, Luna's cries subside as her fist firmly grips Wanda's cardigan. The lights flicker periodically. Wanda sits in the rocking chair, humming a Sokovia lullaby she can't remember were she has hear before. Wanda looks around the room as she rocks the baby, before realizing Lia's bed is empty.
"Lia, are you in here? You can come out now." Wanda says knowing that the baby's cries and the flickering lights probably scared the girl. Wanda watches as Lia appears back in her bed, clutching her blanket to her chest. She sees the remanence of tear stains on the girls cheek.
" it's okay." Wanda says smiling opening her arms for the girl. Lia makes her way to Wanda's side, Wanda lifting the girl into her lap. Wanda gently rocks the two, noticing Luna has now fallen asleep. Lia's little body sighs against Wanda and the young witch can tell she's tired. She rubs the girls back slowly, hoping to lull her back to sleep. The little girl finally closes her eyes drifting back to sleep, head in the crook of Wanda's neck. Wanda smiles, she really doesn't mind being a big sister.

Meanwhile, Natasha and Steve both sit up in bed hearing Luna's cries. Natasha's already slipping on a sweater when she hears Wanda's voice through the baby monitor.
Natasha smiles hearing the teen's voice, interchanging Russian and english in the pattern the baby was used to be comforted in. She hears the babies cries go quiet and Wanda humming a lullaby. Natasha's heart warms at hearing Wanda talk gently to the other little girl.
"She's a good big sister." Steve says reaching over to pull her closer to him.
"Yeah, she is." Natasha smiles settling her head to rest on his chest, looking at the clock which now reads 8:00.
"We did a good job with her." Steve says
"She's grown so much since we've met her." Natasha frowns "We have to teach her to drive and I've been meaning to talk to you about school."
"Public school?" Steve asks, his hand drawing circles on Natasha's hip through her tank top.
"Yeah, she's been doing really well with the online program Tony set up for her. He says that we could probably get her into that school his intern goes to, I think it's called Midtown. But that of course brings a whole new string of problems and risks and..." Natasha says
"Hey, she'd been fine going to public school. She needs friends who aren't on the team. What about her powers?" Steve asks ending Natasha's babbling, which honestly he finds really cute because she only does that around him.
"Tony's made a bracelet, that sort of turns them off. I haven't brought it up yet, her powers are such a large part of her life. I don't want to make her upset that she can't use them or feel like she can't be herself. Basically she would wear the bracelets at school and can take them off when she gets home." Natasha replied
"We should talk to her, ask her what she wants." Steve says. "Now, coffee?"
Natasha nods her head in response, before he pulls the two of them out of bed.
