💙 Kevin- The Boyz 💙

This is my own original idea

Kevin Moon and I have been best friends since we were children. We both grew up in Canada together. Kevin was born in Korea but raised in Canada. When we were 7 I moved next door to him and that's how we became best friends. We are still best friends to this day of course. Kevin lives in Korea due to his career and me still in Canada. I miss him everyday and can't wait till we reunite. Hopefully soon as it's been a few months since we last saw each other in person. I do have other friends but Kevin is my best friend in the world and that will never change. I have a good job and life here in Canada so I'm not moving to Korea or anything to be with my best friend. Maybe some day I can see him again in person. I want to call Kevin soon but I don't know what time it is in Korea. It's 4pm in the afternoon in Canada. They are 14 hours ahead of us. I pick up my phone and give him a FaceTime call. "Hey, Kev Kev" I say. "Hey, you. What's up?" he yawns. "Sorry have I woken you up, Kev" I say. "Nah I'm fine. You know I'm an early bird" he said. "Yes you are. I just wanted to talk to you and see your face" I say. "Well that's nice. I always want to see your face you know" he said. "I wanna see you again" I say. "You're seeing me right now, Y/ N" Kevin smiles. "I mean in person, Kev" I say. "Me too. Maybe soon. Maybe soon" he said. Kevin smiles at me and I smile back at him. We talk for a while then I let Kevin go as he was busy as he had to go to work and I had stuff to do too. It's always lovely talking to him though

It's about a month later and Kevin and I are still in touch regularly of course. Almost everyday when we can which is awesome. I love seeing my best friends face and hearing his voice. It's Saturday so it's my day off work so I'm at home chilling. It's 8am so I'm getting up. I decided to start my day off with a call to Kevin. Good time to get him before he heads off to bed for the night. I pick up my phone and go on FaceTime to call Kevin. "Hey. What's up?" I say. "Hey, you" Kevin said. "Wait where are you? It looks light" I say. "Ummm nowhere" he said. I knew he was somewhere I recognised. "No, Kevin. Where are you. Really?" I reply. "Okay fine, Y/ N. I'm in Canada. I'm coming to your place right now as we speak" Kevin said. "OMG. Really, Kev. No you're kidding" I say. "I not. I'm about 10 minutes away from seeing you" he says. "Kevin, I love you but I also hate you a little. See you soon" I say. I can't believe Kevin came all the way from Korea to see me. Ahhhh I'm so excited to see him. About 10 minutes later the doorbell goes and it was Kevin. "Hey, best friend. Long time no see" Kevin said. "Hey, Kev Kev. Oh my gosh. It's so great to see you. I can't believe you came all this way" I say. "Well I'm here no. Aren't I?" he said. "Yes you are" I reply. I take his bag from him and take it into the guest room. "Stay as long as you want, Kev. My place is yours" I say. "Well I'm not going anywhere anytime soon" Kevin replies. "Yep I know. I'm stuck with you for a while. Haha" I say. Kevin rests for a bit as he was tired from the flight. I was having breakfast while he was resting as it's that time for me. Kevin woke up around noon and we had some lunch together. "I can't tell you how long I've been longing to see you, Y/ N. A very long time is the answer" Kevin said. "I know me too but at least us besties are reunited now" I smile. It was at such an amazing surprise Kevin arriving for a while. Think he could be here for a few weeks. He hasn't booked a return ticket which is good I guess. Me and my bestie are reunited

Kevin has been here for a week now and we are loving hanging out and spending time together. He is maybe going back in two weeks time so we still have plenty of time together. Can't wait to spend time together. I'm worried about Kevin getting bored on his own while I'm at work. Well he's got his family to see and old friends so I guess he's okay. He told me to stop being silly and worrying about him. Sorry I'm a worrying best friend. I am coming hone from work soon. Kevin tidies my apartment which is sweet of him. I tell him he shouldn't and there's other things he should be doing but he insists. I grab my things and leave work and text Kevin when I'm in my the car. I arrive home to my place about 15 minutes later. I park my car in the parking lot and get the elevator to where I live. I open the door and Kevin is nowhere to be seen. The place is in darkness too. Suddenly the lights come in and Kevin pops out from under the kitchen table. "Surprise, Y/ N" he said. "Okay. Wow! Kev" I say. He's decorated my apartment with things and it looks really nice. "Well what so you think?" Kevin asks. "Awesome. I see you've been busy all day" I say. "Yes I have for a couple of hours" he said. I hug Kevin and go into my room to get changed out of my work stuff. To be honest I was a confused why Kevin went to all the trouble and effort but it was so cute and sweet of him. That's the kinda guy he is. That's why he's my best friend. I come out of my room from getting dressed and noticed that Kevin had a nervous look on his face. "Y/ N, there is something I need to tell you and be honest with you about" Kevin said looking into my eyes. "Oh okay" I say. "No don't worry it's nothing bad" he says. Kevin looks at me and hesitates for a few moments. "I love you, Y/ N. I'm-I'm in love with you. I know we've been best friends for ages but I've fallen for you. Sometimes I lay awake at night thinking about you and wondering if you feel the same way. I can't stop thinking about you sometimes. You are the only one for me" Kevin said. I didn't quite know what to say or think. "You're in love with me, Kevin" I say. "Yes yes. That's why I threw together this for you to show you how much you mean to me" he says. "That's so sweet of you. I really love and appreciate you for that" I say. "So do you love me too?" Kevin asks. "Yes I think I do but you'll always be my best friend no matter what" I say. Kevin looks at me and takes my hand and kisses it. I didn't quite know what to say back but maybe I love him in that way but I don't quite know yet. I didn't want to hurt his feelings so I just said it back. Anyway we had a nice night together and cooked a meal. Kevin is so sweet

A year later and Kevin and I are now a couple and I have now moved to Seoul to be with him. We don't live together. Kevin lives with The Boyz and I live in my own place with another girl. I like living apart from Kevin but we still get to see each other most days when we can see each other. Kevin and I are going out for dinner tonight to one of our favourite restaurants and I can't wait. It's not really a special occasion. We are just going out for dinner because why not. Kevin is meeting me at the restaurant in the next half an hour or so. Can't wait to see him. I'm doing my makeup and getting ready to go out for dinner with Kev. When I was ready I set off in the cab and text Kevin when I'm on my way. I arrive at the restaurant soon and Kevin is waiting outside for me. "Hey, babe. You look amazing" he said. "Hey, Kev. Thanks you do too" I reply. He hugs me and holds open the door for me and we walk in and sit down at a table. We then pick up a menu and look at what they have. We soon order. "We are going to have a great dinner tonight, Y/ N" Kevin said. "Oh yes we are" I reply. We get drinks and while we were waiting we talked about our day and everything like that. It was fun. "Y/ N, I can't believe it's been a year and we are together now. I love you" Kevin said. "I know, Kev. Me too. You are the best and I love you too" I say. He smiles. So Kevin and I had an amazing dinner and we took a walk around the town after to finish off our evening. I'm really happy living in Seoul and being with Kevin. It's a dream come true. Friends to lovers
