Kai's POV

I have feelings for my good friend and crush, Y/ N. I've known her for ages but she's currently dating another guy. I don't like him. He's a jerk. I think she could do much better than him. For example me. I was surprised when Y/ N was dating him because I didn't think he was her type. But it is what it is. She's dating another guy. I still have feelings for her no matter what even if she is with someone else. I think she knows how I feel about her but her heart belongs to another guy at the moment. I tried to tell her how I feel about her before but she wouldn't listen to me. I hope she'll see through that guy and realise she's making a mistake dating him. Today Y/ N and her boyfriend, Sungho have asked to meet me at the mall today. I don't really want to go but I said yes. I don't really have time to hangout with her much these days as I have a busy career. I guess it's the only way to see her even though he's going to be there. I don't like him. The mall is one of my favourite places to go so I don't really want to miss out. I'm on my way now. It's my day off so I can meet Y/ N at the mall. I'm so gonna be the third wheel. The cab comes to pick me out from the TXT house. Y/ N knows I'm on my way and I'm meeting them by the entrance. 20 minutes later I arrive at the mall. Y/ N and Sungho are waiting for me outside. They are standing so close. Ugh! "Hey" I say. "Hi" Y/ N said. Sungho nods. "How are you?" I ask. "Yeah good. You!" she replies. So we walk through the mall finding places to go to. I felt a little awkward being the third wheel and being with Y/ N and her boyfriend I don't like. I don't want to cause a scene in the mall

We spend a while looking around the shops in the mall and had fun. I bought a new hoodie and some shoes. I always like to buy things when I go out. Next we are going to the food court to get something to eat from McDonald's. I am having fun with Y/ N but I somewhat still feel a little jealous. Y/ N orders and Sungho and I get a table. I guess I don't have to talk to him and even looking at him. This is awkward. I feel uncomfortable. Sungho looks at me and I look at him back. I felt like saying something to him. Y/ N comes back soon. "Thanks. I'm starving" I said. "No problem. Eat up" Y/ N said. We all eat up. After we had eaten I don't say anything. Y/ N and Sungho are talking. I'm definitely the third wheel now. I sit there bored playing with the zips on my bag. "What's up, Kai? You don't seen yourself" Y/ N said. "Nothing I'm fine" I reply. "Kai, what's up?" she said. "I'm okay. Just tired" I reply. "Why the long face?" Sungho said. "Shut up. Okay" I snap. "Kai! What's wrong with you?" Y/ N said. "It's him" I say. "Why? What?" she questions. "What have I done to you? I know you don't like me but what have I done" Sungho said. "Y/ N, you could do so much better than him. Honestly" I say. "I've never seen you like this before, Kai. Me and Sungho are happy together. Just don't be friends with me if you can't stand seeing us together" Y/ N said. "Y/ N, you know I have feelings for you. I always have. You never listen to me. I tried to tell you multiple times and now you're dating this douche. I can't take it anymore. I'm jealous. Okay" I said. "Kai, stop. You're making a scene in a public place. I think you need to go home. Don't talk to me again till you're in better frame of mind" she said. "Go away you idiot. Don't come near my girl again" Sungho said. "Okay I'm leaving. I need to go now anyway. Bye. Sorry" I say. I leave the mall feeling upset at what happened today. I couldn't take it anymore. I had to say something. I couldn't keep silent any longer. I can't believe Y/ N talked to me like that. I hope she's sorry what what she's said. I can't lose her as a friend

Y/ N's POV

I gave heard from or seen Kai for a few weeks now. Now since we had that fight in the mall. That was almost a month ago now. I was shocked and upset by his outburst at the mall. Last week I broke up with Sungho. I realise that maybe Kai is right and he is a jerk. We had a messy fight about Kai and I admitted to him that I do have feelings for him. Kai and I go back a long away and it would be a shame to never speak to him again because of something silly. Anyway today I am at the mall again. On my own this time of course. I like doing shopping. I wish I was with Kai as it's one of our favourite places to go together when we were friends. I am walking around the mall finding places to go. I've looked in two of my favourite stores. I look around and thought I saw a guy who looked like Kai. Maybe he was even Kai himself. I don't know because he went by so quick and he had his hood up. I decided to follow him to see if it was Kai. "Kai" I say. He turn around and saw me but he continued walking. I didn't chase after him I just went into a store and looked around. After I went into another store. As I was looking at skirts, I felt a tap on my shoulder. I turned around and it was Kai. He was holding a Disney store bag in his hand. It looked to have something in. "Hey" he said. "Hi, Kai. You ignored me earlier" I reply. Yeah I know I'm sorry. I went to get you something when I saw you" Kai said. "Okay" I say. "Where's he?" he asked. "I broke up with him last week but I realised something" I reply. "Oh alright. Do you remember when we saw Toy Story 4? You said you thought Ducky and Bunny were super cute so yeah I got you them" Kai said. "Really? Are you serious?" I say. "Yes they are yours" he said. "Kai, I'm sorry about my boyfriend. Now ex. I know he was a jerk. I know you didn't approve of our relationship" I reply. "It's okay. I'm apologising too. I'm so sorry too, Y/ N. I'm glad you listened to me about him. I hope you still like me and you wannabe my friend again or more maybe. Life turns out to be boring without you" Kai said. "Yes of course. Let's forget about that and move forward" I say. "Y/ N, I can't live without you" he said. Kai looks at me and stands closer to me before pulling me in and kissing me. Nobody was around. We shared a sweet and passionate kiss in the store. "Will you be my girlfriend, Y/ N?" Kai asks. "Yes I'd love to" I reply. He smiles at me and we walk out of the store holding hands feeling very happy. Well that was kind of unexpected but Kai and I reconciled and we are now boyfriend and girlfriend

It's been a week since Kai asked me to be his girlfriend. We have been hanging out everyday since then. Best thing that's ever happened, us making up and getting together. Kai is the sweetest boy I've ever met. We are hanging out at our favourite frozen yogurt place today. We were at the mall earlier and we called there on the way back for some frozen yogurt. We are sat inside eating sat close together. "You got a little on your face, cutie" he said. "Oh haha" I laugh. "It's off now" he smiles. "Thanks" I reply. Kai looks at me and laughs. Awwww he's so cute. We finish our frozen yogurts soon. "Y/ N, I can't believe we are together and you're my girlfriend now" he said sweetly. "I know, Kai. It's amazing. I love you. You're my world" I reply. "I love you too" he smile. "Awww look at that face. You're the cutest" I smile. "No you're the cutest and mine forget" Kai smiles. It's so good now that Kai and I are together after all this time. I have definitely found the right guy
