This is my own original idea

I am almost 8 months pregnant and single. My baby's father left me when I told him I was pregnant. I am having a baby boy. I told him I didn't need anything from him. I am raising this little boy on my own and I'm determined to me a good mother. I don't need a man to raise a baby. My ex boyfriend never wanted children that's why he walked. Plus he had a drug and alcohol problem. Not the kinda person I want round the baby. Getting pregnant got me out of the relationship and away from me. He did me the biggest favour of my life. I have got unconditional love and support from my friends and family since I became pregnant. I am ready to be a mom and I always have my sons name picked out. I am going to call him Edward. Eddie for short sometimes. I've always liked the name so that's going to be his name. If I was to meet the man of my dreams, I would be open to another relationship but I don't think I'm 100% ready yet. I am about to have a baby. The greatest journey of my life. I want Edward to have a happy life with a mom and people who love him around who love him. I am going to be the best mommy I can to him

Today I am going to the mall to Carter's. My favourite baby store. They have amazing things for babies there. I have already got a lot of Edward's things from there already. I don't really need anything in particular. I'm just going to look around and see what they have. I guess you can never have too many things for a baby. I am leaving soon. I woke up and had a shower this morning. I had breakfast and now I'm doing my hair and makeup now. When I've done that I get my things together and go to the mall. It's about 20 minutes away. I park up and get out of the car and walk into Carter's. It's hard driving being pregnant. I go to the baby boy clothes and see what they have. Edward is already a spoilt baby already. I look around for a bit and see a few things I like. I grab them. I go over to the section of bigger things. I knock something off the shelf on my way. A cute guy in front of me bends down and picks it up. "Sorry" I say. "It's okay" he smiles. "Sorry I'm clumsy. Blame it on the pregnancy" I reply. "It's fine don't worry. You can't help it. I'm Joshua" he said. "Hi, Joshua. I'm Y/ N" I reply. "I see you're having a baby boy" he said. "Yes I am. He's due in just over a month" I reply. "Where's your husband? Are you with anyone?" Joshua asks. "Oh no I'm not married. Not with the father anymore. I'm single" I reply. "Oh right sorry. I just assume a pretty woman like you would be married" Joshua said. I smile. "What brings you here?" I ask. "I'm picking up something for my cousins baby. I don't know what to chose. What do you think?" he said. Holding up two cute baby girl outfits. "I like that one" I say. He smiles. Joshua and I go and pay for our things together and walk out of the store together. He invites me for a coffee so I go to Starbucks with him. We sit down together and talk. Joshua is really nice and sweet. I tell him about my ex and he agrees that he's a dick. "I'm so sorry you got involved with a jerk like that" he said. "Yeah I know but he's out of my life and Edward's" I reply. "Edward? Is that going to be his name?" Joshua replies. "Yes it is" I reply. "I like it. A great classic name" he says. We leave together and he carries my bags for me. Such a gentleman. "Y/ N, it was great meeting you today. Here's my number if you need anything. I'd like to see you again. Weather that's before or after the baby arrives" Joshua said. "Oh yeah of course. I've got a whole month to go" I reply. We exchange numbers and depart. I really enjoyed meeting Joshua today. He is so sweet and kind and to mention cute and handsome too. I'm sure we will be seeing each other again soon

It's almost a month later and I'm just a few days off my due date. Joshua and I have got really close since we met. He has been coming over a lot to my place to see me and help. I needed him to help assemble some furniture in the baby's room so he did that for me last week. He's so kind, caring and lovely. We have become good friends in a short time. He's a better friend than some friends I have. Joshua said he will be here for me when Edward is born. He said he can't wait till he's here. Joshua is coming over this evening to help with a few things. My brain is on overdrive with baby things and I think I keep forgetting things so I want him to check over things for me. He calms me down when I'm panicking. I tidied up the kitchen for when Joshua gets here. I am sat on the couch waiting for him to arrive which will be soon. About 15 minutes later the doorbell rings so I go and answer it. Joshua knows I can't race to the door. "Hello, I come bearing food" he said. "Hey, Joshi. Wow! That's a lot of food" I say. "Well it's not all for now. I've been busy cooking you some freezer meals to make it easier for when the baby comes. I want you to eat well and not worry about cooking when you've just had a baby" Joshua said. "Oh my gosh, Joshua. That's so incredibly sweet of you. I can't thank you enough" I reply. He smiles sweetly. Joshua comes in and shows me what he's been making me. "Okay so we have. Lasagne, chicken Alfredo, chicken pie, pasta sauce to go with pasta" he said. Lots more things too. He's been busy cooking for the last few days and that's amazing. I was worried about cooking when I have a new baby. Joshua puts away all the meals in the freezer for me. "There should be enough for two maybe three meals" he said. "That's brilliant. I can't thank you enough, Joshua. You're the best" I say giving him a hug. Joshua brought something for us to eat tonight and we sit down on the couch and eat. "How are you feeling today, Y/ N?" he asks. "Tired as expected only being a few days off my due date" I say. "Yeah I know. You look tired but just rest. I can do those little jobs you asked me to do" Joshua said. Joshua goes off and does those little jobs I asked him to do in the nursery while I rest in the lounge

As Joshua was in the nursery doing some things for me, I start to feel funny like I need to do a big pee. I slowly get up from the couch and go to the bathroom. I sit on the toilet and do a big pee. I get up off the toilet and feel a big cramp. I go to the sink but my waters break just before I was going to wash my hands. Joshua hears me winching and knocks on the door and says "Y/ N, what's happened? Are you okay?" he asks. "Joshua, I think I've gone into labor. My waters just broke and I'm having a contractions" I say. "It's okay. Can I come in?" Joshua asks. "Yes" I reply. He comes in and stands by me and makes sure I'm okay. "Can I get you into the lounge and I can time your contractions then?" he said. I nod my head. Joshua takes me to the hospital when my contractions become more frequent. They were regularly then. They thought Joshua was the father and we were married but we said he was my friend. He couldn't come into the room with me so he called my mom and she came soon. After a long night of labor, baby Edward was born at 7am the next morning. He's amazing. A healthy 8lbs 7oz. My mom told Joshua when he was born. He could come in later when Eddie was about three hours old. "Hello, he's here. Yay!" Joshua said. "He is. Meet Edward or Eddie" i said. "He's so cute, Y/ N. Congratulations" he said. "Do you want to hold him. He wants to meet his uncle Shua" I say. "Sure I'd love to" he said. I gently hand baby Eddie to Joshua. "Hello, little man. Nice to meet you" he said. Joshua lights up as he holds Eddie. "You did really well. I know I wasn't there but your mom said you did" he said. "Yep" I reply. Joshua holds Edward for a while longer and enjoys getting to know him. "Y/ N, I know you've just given birth and we haven't known each other long but I've fallen in love with you. You're the most amazing woman I've ever met. Apart from my mom" Joshua says. I hesitate for moment. "I-I-I love you too, Joshua" I say. I smile and he smiles back. Joshua is the best. I do love him and Eddie of course

Two years later and Joshua and I are now married. We got together when Eddie was 6 months old. We now have a baby girl called Olivia and she is beautiful. Joshua and I are very much in love and we have two beautiful children together. Eddie calls Joshua daddy now. His biological dad has tried to get in contact with me but I don't want him in our sons life. Joshua is his dad now and he loves him. He is the father of both of my children. Olivia was born 3 months ago. She is our beautiful little princess and we love her so much. We are having family cuddles on our bed with Eddie and Olivia now. "Mommy, daddy" Eddie exclaims. "Yes" I reply. He smiles at me. "Happy little Eddie" Joshua said. "He's always our happy little Eddie" I smile. "Babe, we have these two little beans. You and them make me the happiest and luckiest man on this earth" he said. "I know, Joshi. Y'all make me the happiest and luckiest woman on this earth" I reply. He smiles as kisses me as I'm holding Olivia. Joshua and I are so happy. We bumped into each other when I was pregnant, fell in love and are now married with two babies. Life couldn't be any better for us

A/ N: I think that was a great one. I have three biases in SVT. Vernon, Joshua and Woozi. I wanted to do Joshua first as I saw the most excited about this idea. He doesn't love Shua. Hope you liked it
