I have been good friends with Seventeen's Hoshi for years. We go back a long way to our teen years so almost 10 years roughly. I call Hoshi Soonyoung as that's his real name and I've always known him by that. Soonyoung is always a person who I can trust and relay on. I love dancing myself but I'm not a professional dancer and artist like Soonyoung. I think he is so amazing and talented in every way. I admire his talent a lot. He always encourages me to be a dancer but I don't think I want to do it full time. I have a career in finance now. I appreciate Soonyoung encouraging me anyway. Maybe I will reconsider my career choice. Soonyoung and I love having dance battles in the studio every now and then. He always ends up killing me as he's so awesome. He's just released his solo song Spider too and it's brilliant. I'm very proud him. Soonyoung has asked me to cone down to the studio today. He said he wants a dance battle so I said I was up for it and available. I love having dance battles with Soonyoung but like I said he always kills me. I am on my way to the Pledis studios now. The guys should be there too so that'll be good. I arrive and walk in. I always know the studio that Soonyoung and the guys are in. I open the door and walk in. They are sat on the floor taking a break. "Hey, I'm here" I say. "Y/ N, yay! You're here" Soonyoung said. "Yes I am. Good to see you, my friend" I smile. Soonyoung gives me a hug. "You know what, Y/ N. Dance battle" he said. "Oh yes, Oppa" I say. He stares at me for a minute and we both started laughing. "You guys can't have a dance battle if you're going to have a dance battle" Joshua said. "We will soon" Soonyoung laughs. Anyway we stop laughing and get on with the dance battle

The music to Left & Right starts and Soonyoung and I start having a dance battle. We do the original choreography and a few of our own freestyle moves too. I can tell that Soonyoung is killing me at the moment. He always does. I will never beat him. We did a dance battle to Spider too. Soonyoung taught me the chereo before the song came out so I already know it. The music starts and we start another dance battle. Soonyoung was killing it again as it was his song of course. All the guys were clapping and cheering for us. Cheering on both of us. It's so much fun when we have dance battles. We could do it all day. Seriously. I was worn out and breathless after both dance battles. "That was awesome, Y/ N. You killed it" Soonyoung said. "No you killed me, Soonyoung" I say. He laughs. Later he asked me to go and get food with him so we went to a burger place down town. We get what we want and sit down at a table. "I've definitely worked up an appetite after all that dancing. I always do" Soonyoung said. "Yes me too. I'm telling you" I say. We talk about how awesome the dance battle was and other things too. Soonyoung always gives me eye contact when looking at me. Well yeah we go back a long way. I think he was going to say something to me but he didn't. We drink our milkshakes together as well. Soonyoung got another milkshake so did I. That was a great end to a great dance battle. "Okay, Y/ N so we'll see each other soon for another dance battle and date" Soonyoung said. "Yes certainly. Sometime soon" I smile. He smiles and gives me a hug before we leave. I smile as I leave Soonyoung. I love spending time with him and having dance battles with him. It's awesome. He's awesome

Soonyoung's POV

It's a few weeks later and I was going to tell Y/ N how I feel about her. I have had feelings for her for a while now but I have been too nervous to tell her. I was going to tell her after our dance battle. I almost got the words out but I held back. I don't know if Y/ N feels the same about me. She has never showed any romantic interest in me. Maybe she does like me but she's just shy like me. I have known her for almost 10 years and she's always been one of my closest friends and I have always been one of her closest friends. I have always treasured her special friendship. I sit on the couch at home after practice and wonder what I should do. Should I go and tell Y/ N how I feel about her tonight? Or wait for another day. I am in two minds. It's a dilemma. I just can't get her off my mind so I decide to bite the bullet and go to Y/ N's place and tell her how I feel. I just want her to know my true feelings for her. I get my coat and shoes on and walk out the door of my apartment in the pouring rain and run to Y/ N's place which isn't far away. I get to her place cold and soaking wet and knock on the door and wait for an answer. She lives with her sister so I hope she answers. Y/ N opens the door a couple of minutes later. "Soonyoung, come in. You're soaked" she said. "Yes thank you" I say. She takes my wet coat from me and gets me a hot drink. "Y/ N, can we talk somewhere private" I say. "Sure. My room" she replies. We go to Y/ N's room and sit on her bed. "What's the matter, Soonyoung? You look nervous. Is something the matter?" Y/ N asks. "Well I need to tell you something, Y/ N. Something I've been wanting to tell you for a while but last time I couldn't bring myself to tell you" I say. "Okay" she replies. "Well we've been good friends for many years now but I like you, Y/ N. More than a friend. I have feelings for you, Y/ N" I say. She looks at me and giggles a little. "Do you? Really, Soonyoung? You're like the sweetest person I know" she said. "So you don't feel the same way?" I ask. "Well I'm not denying it, Soonyoungie" she said. "Well I really like you. I'm not going to stop being your friend if you don't like me back in that way" I smile. She smiles back. I don't think Y/ N has feelings for me back but it's okay as we are still friends no matter what

It's been a few weeks since I admitted my feelings to Y/ N. She didn't reciprocate them back but oh well. I guess it's okay. We are still friends no matter what. I will always be friends with her no matter what. Tonight Y/ N has asked me to go over to her place. Don't know why. She just asked me to come over and I agreed to. I am on my way over now. Maybe it's a surprise but if it is, I'm not good with surprises so I won't like it. I arrived at Y/ N's place and knocked on the door. She opened in a split second. "Hey, come in. So glad you're here" she said. "Hi" I say. Y/ N's place was in darkness. Her sister must be gone. "So why is it dark?" I ask. She turns the lights on and there is a candle lit table for two in the kitchen. "I made a meal for two. Care to join me?" she said. "Yeah sure" I smile. Like I said I don't like surprises but Y/ N was sweet to cook for me. We sat down. "Sorry I would've dressed up if I knew you were cooking for me" I say. "It's fine. Don't worry. I wanted to you know apologise" I say. "For what?" I reply. "You know" she says shrugging her shoulders. We eat and enjoyed the meal that Y/ N had made. "Soonyoung, I want to say sorry for not liking you back" she said. "No it's okay. Don't worry" I say. "Well I think I'm in love with you, Soonyoung. You're an okay guy so what is there not to love about you" Y/ N said. "Really? You making me blush, Y/ N" I say. She stands up and comes to me and grabs my hand. "I want you to be my boyfriend, Soonyoung so will you be my boyfriend?" she asks. I look at her and smile. My brain couldn't process what she just asked me. "Yes yes, Y/ N. Yes I will be your boyfriend" I say. Y/ N looks at me and pulls me in for a kiss. Wow! Okay I wasn't expecting that. Y/ N cooked me a meal and just asked me to be her boyfriend so I'm her boyfriend now and she's my girlfriend. She does have feelings for me and we have found out happy ending after so many years

A/ N: let's talk about Hoshi's incredible solo. It's growing on me. A catchy song and all. He is an incredible dancer too. One of the best in Kpop. Ten is my fave dancer but Hoshi has to be one. I was hoping for a mini album but Spider is a great song
